Re: Memory full?

I wouldn't want to clear the memory unless I had to.
I had the interval set to 15 minutes so it could store a whole month's data.
I just changed the interval (via EasyWeather) to 10 minutes to agree with my setting in Cumulus.

Re: Wind vane solution !

I'd vote for a change to the calculated average in the oct08log.txt.
I agree that there's nothing you can do about the number off the unit, but most restarts of Cumulus probably take place after less than say 12 hours, so at least most of the picture after a restart will contain averages.

Memory full?

The memory of my W-8681 is about 3 quarters full, and I am beginning to wonder what will happen when it becomes full :?:
Will it just wrap? will Cumulus just carry on happily? will EasyWeather?
Anybody had any experience?

Re: Rain Rate Query

Steve, thanks for the explanation.
No: no bright ideas
I am happy with my circumvention: just shut down immediately and restart. That fixes it.

Re: Wind vane solution !

As far as I can tell what is stored in the Oct08log.txt is the "current" direction, i.e. the red cross(es) - not the "average" direction, i.e. the blue dots. Maybe it would make more sense to store the average direction? That would produce a prettier picture for us having a Fine ...

Re: Rain Rate Query

I can confirm that the display field: Rainfall Last Hour is incorrect when restarting Cumulus. I shut down Cumulus at 23:00 last night and just restarted it. At start-up Cumulus says: Rainfall Last Hour: 3.9 mm - and I have had no rain since 3 in the morning. I shut down Cumulus immediately (before ...

Re: Cumulus Server Sided Flash Charts

Kevin, I am impressed with your graphics work, and I'd certainly like to see you continue this effort. I have one problem, though: my system is not a server, and I am not online 24/7. But I would love to be able to see (and save) graphic pictures of my weather data - on my plain, ordinary Windows no...

Re: Reading History

Bob, did you actually close Cumulus? - or did you just put your PC to sleep - e.g. closed the lid? I find that if you put your PC to sleep without closing Cumulus, it will start up again when you log in again, but leave a gap in the history (just happened to me over dinner...) Anyway: you might try ...

Re: Graph

Bob,
that's normal after a restart: graph is rebuilt from data with larger intervals.
Have a look at my graphs - system crashed and was restarted at 14:00 ;)

Re: v1.8.0

I experienced the same crash when zooming in on the wind direction graph.
Have opened a ticket in the tracking system.

Re: Cumulus 2 suggestions

Suggestion from a non-British user: please support decimal commas & periods for thousands separators!
Cumulus works beautifully if I set my system to British standards - but crashes when I use my normal Danish standard.
