Re: Settings menu issue
Seems to me you missed some files during installation, notably from the interface. But I did have this issue myself when opening CMX on my tablet. Are you? Try another browser though this seems to be Chrome which should be OK. Hi Hans, Thanks for the ideas. I installed from the image, so there shou...

Settings menu issue
Hi, I have just installed the latest Pi image on a freshly formatted SD card to run the latest version of CMX on my Pi 2B. The weather station is an Ecowitt GW1103. I have used the Config Wizard to set it up and am receiving data succesfully. I'm getting an issue with the Settings menu though. Neith...

Re: Random rain spikes
... On the GW1100 I had "customised", "same as Ecowitt" protocol activated ... Where did you change this? I use that section of WS View to send data to Home Assistant. The GW1100 exposes a configuration page on your network. Simply browse to its IP address, the default password ...

Re: Random rain spikes
I have to admit I don't really understand how the GW1100 and CMX communicate  , but in general it all seems to be working bar these spikes. In CMX station type is set to GW1100, and the IP address points to the GW1100. On the GW1100 I had "customised", "same as Ecowitt" pr...

Re: Random rain spikes
WS View isn't something I use. Is it likely to help find the problem? The rain spikes do not appear on ecowitt.net, where the correct data shows.

Random rain spikes
Hi, I've been using an Ecowitt GW1103 with Cumulus MX on a Raspberry Pi pretty successfully for about 6 months now, having moved from Oregon Scientific previously. I'm noticing random rain spikes occasionally though. Every now and then a large amount of rain appears in the Cumulus log, but it's not ...

Re: Another ftp issue
Ah! And there we have it I think. Cumulus requires a minimum set of sensors to function fully. FAQ You're right, that was it! Adding NoSensorCheck=1 to cumulu.ini got everything working again. Thank you so much for your help, I would never have figured that out. I'll need to get out on the roof onc...

Re: Another ftp issue
Ok, thanks.
I won't be back at my computer till Monday evening, so I'll do that then.
I'm intrigued to get to the bottom of this
About 10 years running Cumulus in various versions and this is the trickiest problem I've come across yet...

Re: Another ftp issue
Hi Mark, Yes, include graph data files was checked. So I've done as you suggest, a full clean install of the latest version of CumulusMX in a new directory. I've copied nothing across yet, not cumulus.ini or any data. I've set the station settings to the same settings as before manually, no ftp or a...

Re: Another ftp issue
Ok, maybe this isn't actually an ftp issue. I've noticed the files aren't being ftp'ed to my server and assumed the problem was ftp. But the trend data isn't showing correctly in the CumulusMX served webpage on my own internal network: Screenshot (3).png This is the case for all the recent trend dat...

Re: Another ftp issue
Sorry, I should have explained, as a workaround I added those files to 'Extra web files', and checked realtime, to get them to upload to the server, restoring some functionality to my website. Screenshot (2).png Realtime ftp works, but nothing else gets ftp'ed. Nothing set to go at the standard uplo...

Re: Another ftp issue
Zip file attached.
Realtime files continue to upload correctly, but no sign of the 'standard' files.
Thanks again for your help,
Martin
