Yes my Davis Vantage Vue records a single tip in the rain gauge when there has been a heavy dew or frost. As the temperature rises it tips. Our humidity in Hokitika NZ is usually 80% + so we get this often in cooler months. In summer the evaporation takes care of it. I don't worry about it as I see ...

Thanks for all the suggestions. This is an update on my situation. I have upgraded to Windows 8.1 and after a couple of days upgrading Chipset drivers my Vantage Vue communications have not missed a beat and are very stable.
