Re: Cumulus Realtime.txt Dashboard Template

Thanks Brian, and it has always been a simple but impressive template and matured very well. My oldest version that I still have in an old backup is 2015-10-09. I've enjoyed the progress and learned along the way. And it does show up quite well on my Galaxy S7 http://www.komokaweather.com/pws Enjoyi...

Re: Crazy Readings

To correct the bad data can you copy in from your midnight data backup? Does the WMR968 have a logger? from which Cumulus would then upload the station data since midnight (presuming that data is valid).

Re: Crazy Readings

Looking at your temp, rain, wind and pressure trends data certainly looks like you've had some crazy :o weather starting after midnight. If Cumulus is uploading that data to WU then presumably WU is interpreting as invalid and not showing it. After the extreme spikes it seems most data has flatlined...

Re: Davis Vantage Pro2 Maintenance.

I have no direct experience
My VP2 was put up July 2008 and I've only opened the ISS a couple of times, once to replace the battery about 5 years ago. Never cleaned or did maintenance to it  except for the rain bucket debris cleanout.

Enjoy,

Re: Davis Vantage Pro2 Maintenance.

Hi Simon, I have no direct experience and hopefully others will chyme in, but from what I have read the Setup mode is only effective for a short while (some minutes) before it goes back to normal mode http://www.wxforum.net/index.php?topic=20034.0. I don't think taking the battery out is effective a...

Re: Time for a new station - what's needed for Davis?

For Davis stations, both VP2 and Vue, you need the optional extra interface dongle to connect to a computer or router. This is not needed for a stand-alone weather station home console setup. The Davis Weatherlink interface dongle comes in serial, USB or IP version and includes data logging for the ...

Re: New Record? Post here.

Thanks for the post Matt. Our son and his family now live in Brisbane and he called a couple days ago saying that everything was being closed and cancelled (including his interview for a job position). The twins, age 5, though were enjoying running outside in the heavy rain. We will Skype them this ...

Re: WebPage Image

You can modify the indexT.htm to your liking and that is then what Cumulus will process and upload at the regular intervals.

(Always keep a backup of the file before editing so you can quickly go back in the event something went wrong - but it won't,,,)

Enjoy,

Re: How to display latest image with changing filename

Just now realized I was at 100 items (100%) in my outgoing box and must have missed that message when I was sending the PM initially a few days ago. At least my mind wasn't totally gone
Need to do some cleaning out...
