Re: Sun on light

Ah, thanks for spotting. Yesterday I had looked at the current SRsunshine.dat and gone back to previous forum posts to try to recall what each line represented and noticed that there seemed to be an extra but I ignored that difference because I had not done any B-L version update for quite a while. ...

Re: Sun on light

Hi Mark, not aware of any configuration, only to tick Use B/L in Cumulus Station configuration. My Envoy/USB/Cumulus uses Com 4 and my B-L uses Com 5 and that has not changed. Nothing changed from B-L software, just the physical outside unit. The only thing I am aware of is that B-L writes a SRsunsh...

Sun on light

In the past my Cumulus console screen would show the yellow sun as on whenever the sun was shining. I started with the B-L Sunrecorder which Cumulus recognized and showed the yellow sun when sun was shining. After my original B-L failed in July I changed Cumulus to not use B-L and then Cumulus defau...

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)

Regarding sunshine, I did not have the Davis UV or solar sensor on my VP2 until I replaced the ISS this past May. Instead, Cumulus was set to use my B-L Sunrecorder. I continued with using the B-L sunshine data until the recorder finally retired in the middle of July, after more than 7 years, and th...

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)

I've monkeyed with the file a bit so likely that is the cause of my issues of not showing the new sunshine feature and haven't had a chance to get everything restarted from scratch. http://www.komokaweather.com/weather/beteldayfilereader/betel_readDayfile.php It initially opens but if I click on ano...

Re: Weather34 Home Weather Station Template

Hi Brian,
This script http://www.komokaweather.com/weather/davconvp2CU.php uses the Cumulus <#wsforecast> Davis scrolling ticker forecast
Is this what you are asking?

Enjoy,
Paul

Re: VP2 status

You Can't Go Wrong With a Davis! The original Vantage Pro model was replaced with the Vantage Pro2 that physically looks pretty much the same but some significant communication improvements. I had my VP2 since 2008 and was still working well when I replaced it with a VP2 Plus (with solar, UV, 24-FAR...

Re: Decoding METARS

Made contact on another forum with a Flight Service Specialist at the London Airport (NavCanada) and got a chance to visit them this afternoon - something I've been wanting to do for a long time. Got a quick rundown on what and how it is done. As we were outside looking at things it just started to ...

Re: 32701 error

The SiliconLab driver is latest, dated this year. I read on an old thread something on a utility available via Davis, either in or alongside WL to reset the logger - but as yet haven't discovered it (perhaps I imagined it?). Yes there is such a utility as mentioned here http://sandaysoft.com/forum/...
