Re: Strange Daily Rain - 18.31in

I don't have any thoughts on what might be the cause but to trace this I would shut down Cumulus, start Weatherlink so that the datalogger data downloads, and then see what the Weatherlink Sep17log.txt file shows for rain during that time. This at least would show if the datalogger and Cumulus show ...

Re: CumulusMX dashboard

Far from being an expert and don't know anything about EasyWeather, but wonder why you are even using EasyWeather and its settings ? If your station is working and you want to use Cumulus you need to stop EasyWeather and only run Cumulus. I don't use Cumulus MX full time so can only suggest you firs...

Re: CumulusMX dashboard

Hi candrasa, Your http://stacu.csuryadharma.my.id/index.htm is not changing from "Conditions at local time 15:47 on 23 September 2017" Possible cause is incorrect settings in Web Site so the updates are not being FTP or going to a different location. Any clues in your MXdiags file? A scree...

Re: Upload AWS Data to the Interent

As sfws says, if you have a standard Fine Offset that Cumulus supports select that instead of the .dat station type. In the Internet settings you can tick the Enable realtime and realtime.txt FTP and you won't need to add it to your extra files setting (which, from your link, is set incorrect as wel...

Re: Advice regarding additional web address from 123-reg

I just went to GoDaddy.com and entered Ray's url with .uk and then .com
No doubt it is a special promotion, maybe there was fine print that I didn't read.

Re: Where do I start?

Hi Gruver, I will gladly share my experiences on where and how to start... and also being one that had no background or knowledge at all, just a lot of cut and paste, trial and error  Since you're running Cumulus you've got half of it done already. Next is get a domain, and a web host service ...

Re: Advice regarding additional web address from 123-reg

Hi Ray, i would get it... it is free and after 2 years only a slight cost. Or you could cancel at that time if you have no more interest (presume you're not entering in to a long term contract). Unless you want to use it for a second website, no benefit other than you can say visit my site at http:/...

Thanks #sfws for the Wiki link. In all my years using Cumulus I've not looked at that page   It probably could have saved me some hair and less brain hurt :( but I have persevered...

Re: Cumulus Index Template

Hi,
This link http://www.qsl.net/g0hdi/wx.htm contains the <#webtags> code so looks like not being processed before upload.

Re: Cumulus Index Template

The file with the webtags must be processed and uploaded by Cumulus. Are the source and remote file names correct (indexT.htm didn't change to indexT.html by chance? - it has happened to me after editing.

Enjoy,
Paul

Re: Cumulus Index Template

I have no ability on coding but am excellent in borrowing, cut and paste, trial and error... ;) and asking for help  I think this is the code in my http://www.komokaweather.com/index.php which in turn loads http://www.komokaweather.com/weather/index.htm <!-- Here is where the Cumulus /weather/...

Re: Current conditions, php and MySQL

And another borrowed from the forum using the WU XML: <h3>Current conditions from Weather Underground XML source <a href="https://api.wunderground.com/weatherstation/WXDailyHistory.asp?ID={use your own WU station ID}&format=XML">{use your own WU station ID} </a></h3> <?php $json_string...

Re: Current conditions, php and MySQL

There are some clever ways people have done current conditions. A couple I use: http://sandaysoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=15654&p=126233&hilit=current+conditions+script#p126233 http://sandaysoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=12831&p=125750&hilit=current+conditions#p12...

Re: Cumulus Index Template

If you want to make changes to your Cumulus index (Now) page, you would edit the indexT.htm in your Cumulus/web folder - i.e. http://www.komokaweather.com/weather/index.htm and then using it in an iframe http://www.komokaweather.com
