Re: Running MX as a second Cumulus on same computer

I am still experimenting with this setup and appears that using the full WiFiLogger features and also running Cumulus full time is not stable. CumulusMX crashes at least a couple of times per day. Attached zip has the MXdiags after the last crash and then needing to Enter to restart CumulusMX. The s...

Re: Running MX as a second Cumulus on same computer

Thanks Steve,
With that port change and some other settings in the WiFiLogger I have CumulusMX running on my computer, in addition to Cumulus 1.

Once the WiFiLogger has completed its testing phase I will look at CumulusMX uploading to website and also get in to the database side.

Running MX as a second Cumulus on same computer

I have recently been successfully running Cumulus 1 with VVP alongside with Weatherlink from a Davis USB logger. Cumulus 1 is set as TCP/IP with IP address 127.0.0.1 and TCP Port 5511. I am also testing a third party WeatherlinkIP alternative logger (wireless) and would like to try this with Cumulus...

Re: UV and Solar graphs uploads

Thank you Steve, that works and so simple. I've looked at that Files configuration screen hundreds of times and also must have ticked the Sunshine about 7 years ago when I got the B-L sunrecorder but missed it now. Maybe I was too excited about the Pro sensors and forgot to look in the obvious :oops...

UV and Solar graphs uploads

I have updated my station from Davis VP2 to VP2 Pro. The UV and Solar graphs show in Cumulus Graphs but did not in trends.htm as the solar.png and uv.png images were not being uploaded as part of the standard files to /weather/images. I added them as additional files to upload and edited trendsT.htm...

Re: Which weather station to buy??

I am just replacing my 2008 Davis VP2 with a VP2 Plus and 24-FARS. The VP2 has operated flawlessly for these 10 years and is still working great. The only thing I have done to it is replace the ISS battery in 2010 and 2017, just because I thought I should. It will find a good home for itself for mor...

WiFiLogger for Davis stations

For those interested, there will be a Wifi logger available soon.

See discussion here http://www.wxforum.net/index.php?topic= ... #msg348486
It is primarily an alternate to WeatherlinkIP but can be a serial/USB replacement as well.

Enjoy,
Paul

Re: Nearby Earthquakes and Raspberry Shake.

That seems pretty close Tony, and nice presentation. I have never felt one as they seldom occur here. But from this map https://www.earthquaketrack.com/ca-08-london/recent there have been a few on the other side of Lake Erie near Cleveland, OH.

Stay safe,
Paul
