Re: Weather34 Site Logo
Its a bit cramped up there but you could possibly build a logo into say the top row left hand module and move the time and date up to the title bar.

Re: Latest (final) Cumulus version
Didn't want to bother Brian with this, but has anyone noticed any problem with the rainfall module for 3 December version? I am getting strange values for yesterday's rainfall. For example it is currently showing 0.591mm (https://claydonsweather.org.uk/CU). We have not experienced rain for several ...

Error livedata.php
Simon, There is an error in the livedata.php file within the final update (19 November). Its related to the addition of 'Last Hour' in the 'Almanac' section of the rainfall module. I spotted it whilst I was updating the weeWX version which also uses realtime.txt for live data. Line 111 reads: - $wea...

Re: Acurite 5 in 1 / Cumulus MX / Importing JSON
Hi everyone My WH1080 weather station was damaged, and so I replaced it with a cheaper Acurite 5 in 1 (new for $60)! I know that it doens't have a PC/USB interface, but I am able to receive its data using an SDR radio (RTL-SDR v3 and RTL_433). From the RTL_433 app I am able to get a JSON file conta...

Re: UK Metoffice retiring embedded widget service
I've embedded the forecast widget from forecast.co.uk into my main page. Thanks to that site for providing the service. :) Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I am in the process of putting a multiple forecast page together using this service (for my family scattered around the UK). Also try...

UK Metoffice retiring embedded widget service
Metoffice has announced that it is ‘retiring’ the embedded widget service. Retiring or an enforced cost cutting exercise? Many of us use these embedded widgets on our websites. Would be interested to hear other users’ thoughts. Read about it here : - https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/services/weather-wid...
Re: WS-2902
I am afraid it is one of the new Fine Offsets that has no logger and only updates details to WU and is NOT supported by Cumulus. A list of all supported Weather Stations is here http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Supported_Devices and thank you for answering both my posts. Have a look here https://claydo...

Re: Cumulus MX model Interface template
Hi to all, I spend on Cumulus MX after 7 years of MeteoHub. Here's my question: can we use the page template interface, the first six pages on its public website ? mx3.jpg Because I find the layout nice. If so, what is the procedure to follow? cordially Clem Why don't you try https://weather34.com/...

Re: Maplin in administration - where to buy spare parts now?
I wonder how many UK based enthusiasts first cut their teeth on one of these Maplin Fine Offset clones? I bet a high proportion did and certainly I am amongst that number. I still have a fully working machine and a full set of spare parts sitting in graceful retirement in my garage - will have to m...

Re: Maplin in administration - where to buy spare parts now?
It is a reflection of how many Fine Offset stations have been kept going by replacing some sensors! An old Fine Offset is like Triggers broom!      I wonder how many UK based enthusiasts first cut their teeth on one of these Maplin Fine Offset clones? Have you thought about hosting yourself? It really is very straightforward and you won’t have to worry about restrictions.

Re: Realtime extra program not firing
Steve, apparently you are an expert at this! I did as you suggested and it started working straight away. I think the Cumulus doc could do with a bit of updating in this area. It suggests that the field should contain a "program or command to be run", but it seems that at least in the Uni...
