FTP Timeout errors getting frequent
I don't seem to notice other Internet connectivity issues here lately. However I seem to get several FTP Timeout errors a day now. Times they are a few in ten minutes then a few two hours later. Times they are not daily. Where might I look here for possible causes? This seems to have increased start...

Re: Is it possible to use sftp
Edit: A quick search turned up this thread - https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=8098 - see the last post in the thread where a user has supplied the required details. good find! his example is a much more detailed look at it! so I guess my next task is to do the actual sync. Sti...

Re: Is it possible to use sftp
OK .. I "might" have figured this out: sft-web-cmds.txt contains : ------------------------ option batch abort option confirm off open username:password@domain put "location_of->Cumulus\index.htm" /ur_ftp_place-root/Cumulus/web/index.htm and so on for the files that go into the C...

Re: Is it possible to use sftp
]Ok, that's a help. I now have just the realtime.txt going up at about every 30 seconds, via sftp and winscp. Quite smoothly too. http://denstarfarm.us/Cumulus/gauges.htm will show the wind guages moving every 30 seconds. Eventually I'll take some of the bandwidth down once I see that it's all worki...

Is it possible to use sftp
When I use FileZilla, I can, and do, use sftp to upload files to folders on my website.
Is there a way to use sftp from within Cumulus?

Re: FTP seems lagging at 90 seconds for one transfer
there's something else going on.
If I go to ftp.den ..../index... then I get the screen-shot included this time. If I go to denstar.../index ... then I get the old outdated one.
while it does appear that files are being sent to the correct folder. See the screen shot from FileZilla I just took.

Re: FTP seems lagging at 90 seconds for one transfer
Are you saying that the Files-Tab, and all those files I got in there, needn't be uploaded?
I read that, in some cases, one would want to make or alter the Web-Pages. I guess maybe that's what you'd enter on those, or, as the manual says, edit the ini .

Re: FTP seems lagging at 90 seconds for one transfer
I have to ask as to me it makes no sense, why on earth are you sending Cumulus .ini files to your web server? I have a meagre handful of plausible excuses. Foremost is that, in the last couple of months, I have had a few catastrophic HDD, and their backups, failures. Thus, I was hoping to be, in a ...

FTP seems lagging at 90 seconds for one transfer
MY internet seems bogged down so I checked several programs. Cumulus seemed to be always sending or getting data. So I discontinued any real-time uploads. ftplog_snip.txt Then I monitored the ftp.log to see what the holdup was . It appears I have configured something incorrectly after migrating my d...

Possible missing 'images' folder at ftp site
I am migrating the DNS pointers for my site. Thus I may have made a mistake re-uploading the Cumulus folder. Cumulus is updating to the new ftp location. But I do not see an 'images' folder as seen in the screenshot(s) . On the previous ftp location, viewing the Cumulus site on the server always wor...

Re: Using 'View Select-A-Graph
i see the problem ... in the Apr15 log text file. While the 'event' was going on I noticed the particular computer's clock did not reflect the DST time. Thus I noticed that NTP/Meinberg was not running either. In that time, I re-installed Meinberg; the clock adjusted the tune by 60 mins ... and my g...

Using 'View Select-A-Graph
I was watching a steep front come through with accompanying winds and thunderstorms, a few minutes ago. After passage, I wanted to chart the temperature drop, as measured every minute. The outside temperature at 1300 was about 69 degrees. At about 1400 it is 57 degrees F. How do I get the chart to r...

Re: Missing Data in Logfile after a shutdown
The diags for yesterday morning are gone now, Cumulus has been started at least ten times since then ... .....There's nothing in there to give any clues as to the BSODs, but then I wouldn't expect that. arguably true. re the 10 restarts, on this computer, for the time being ....due to the BSOD's. T...

Re: Missing Data in Logfile after a shutdown
Highly unlikely. As you have an IP logger, ........ If you quote the details from the BSOD it may be possible to say where the problem lies. There's some good information about BSODs here - Ahh, perfect. I will peruse them and hopefully have a line or two to post back about the BSOD's ...meanwhile ...

Re: Missing Data in Logfile after a shutdown
The error in the March log file is likely caused by the crash (BSOD), or by you killing the process. The error should be obvious in a good text editor. A BSOD is usually caused by a hardware or driver problem. regards me killing the non-responsive task, well, I saw no other way to gain access to th...
