Dashboard: 'Upgrade Available'
Cumulus MX 3.13.8 b3154
It seems I have the 'Latest', so I have task was is the meaning of Upgrade Available ?
I haven't run Cumulus since I got it in 2016 or 17, don't really recall.
Now feeding WxNow.txt to APRS and I discovered you guys were working on maintaining this.
Thanks for that.

Re: The current rain 'Gauge' value
regarding the Davis rain measuring, I have, awaiting non-rainy days, my second replacement rain-diodes. I see I am back to "spot-on" measurements and >20% off .... usually lower last year in Summer, I replaced them .. the measurements were thereafter perfect. About two months ago they were...

Re: The current rain 'Gauge' value
Well Steve, that's a good point. Frankly I'd been changing over at 0600 for so long that I'd not considered the point the VP2 PRO logs midnight to midnight. And I couldn't find a setting in config ... none seen in a hasty search, I'll defer to you and thus set MX to toggle at midnight. At the very l...

The current rain 'Gauge' value
I am looking at my Davis VP2 and it says 'Daily Rain' 0.69. I just measured the NOAA rain-bucket and got the same. So my CumulusMX gauge says .55 I know that which is in the bucket was zeroed out at 0600 local time. CumulusMX is set to 0900 local time. I suddenly got to wondering when I call the wea...

Can I view MX-Dashboard on my iPad Pro?
So I just got my first iPad Pro. Am I able to view http://localhost:8998/index.html on it? I ask because I get the error 'could not connect to server' . In trying this, I am at home on my WiFi .. I am aware that I'd need some other scheme if I was not at home ... VPN or something of which I have no ...

Re: Mx Stopping
..... I try to take those out of the database when it happens but at the moment there are at least two entries I need to edit out. --Kurt Please explain how I delete two of the rain data days? I have two where I see my NOAA Data-Book shows zero rain and I absolutely believ what I wrote down ...15 i...

Re: Mx Stopping
Most impressive!! You're a top-end weather hub indeed. Well then, I never look at the davis site anyway. Just checkmarked that box a long time ago with no real understanding why I was doing it. I'll leave it unchecked and march on. I've been running all the radio stuff for hours today and CMX has no...

Re: Mx Stopping
You could turn off uploads to weatherlink.com to confirm that's the cause of the problem. Clif-Notes: So far since yesterday, no crashes with that turned off. I wondered about that yesterday afternoon. So I turned it off using the 'vantagepro" program from them . Since I was uncertain "If...

Do you guys have your Davis VP2 connected directly to the router? Or connected to your computer?

Re: Mx Stopping
Yes, did crash. two things don't make sense to me. before I mentioned this, MX had been running a couple days. and secondly, Cumulus-Original is now running a couple days after the fact of CMX beginning it's crash series. Why? Let's go back to the port-forwarding of 8998,8002,22222 .. is any of that...

Re: Mx Stopping
Is your Windows firewall turned on? Win-7 no .. Kaspersky, Yes . Assuming you have the firewall enabled on the Asus I recommend you turn the Windows FW off since the computer is already behind a FW and the Windows FW can break things unless you have specifically set rules to allow them. I believe I...
