You haven't inadvertently changed the port have you? It should be 50222
Also, if you're trying to run wfpiconsole at the same time, that will prevent Cumulus from being able to listen on that port. You can only have 1 listener on a port at a time.

Re: WeatherFlow Tempest system
If you're using linux, you can use socat to dump the received data to stdout.
$ socat UDP-RECV:50222 STDOUT
The udp packets should start being logged to the terminal about every 3 or 4 seconds.

Re: WeatherFlow Tempest system
The Tempest will broadcast those packets by default. I'm not aware of any way to disable that. @mcrossley is correct. The only REST calls will be on startup trying to grab any data since the last received by Cumulus. My first guess would be that a firewall is blocking them. If not that, then I belie...

Cumulus currently only deals with the cloud during the initial import of historical data and on cumu...

Re: WeatherFlow Tempest Lightning Sensor
Yes, the Tempest will send lightning info to CumulusMX. There is one thing to note on the Tempest though. The Tempest App (iPhone, Android, and web) apparently shows lightning info from tempest stations nearby, not just your local tempest. This can be confusing when trying to compare CumulusMX to th...

Re: Tempest System Installation
Albert, If you go to the tempest site online: https://tempestwx.com/settings (and login) Down at the bottom you will see a "Data Authorizations" section. Click on that and then click on "Create Token". This is the token that you'll need to enter in the "Security Token" ...

Re: Data input appears to have stopped for Weatherflow Tempest
Do you have the wifi setup to be on a different subnet? Because the broadcast messages will probably not leave their own subnet.

Re: Data input appears to have stopped for Weatherflow Tempest
Jason, There really isn't any "config" involved to process the local messages. The tempest hub automatically broadcasts them on the network, CumulusMX just "listens" for the messages. First I would try cycling power on the hub. If that doesn't start them again, you may want to ch...

Re: Weatherflow support
Phil,
Would you be willing to create a token that you can share with me so I can test the air/sky REST downloads?
Thanks,
Doug

Re: Weatherflow support
Phil, Unfortunately, the Weatherflow support is limited at this time to the Tempest model. The API's are very similar, but different enough that I didn't include support for the other models. As you can see, the Wind record is the same format for for Sky & Tempest so it works. I only have the Te...

Re: Support for WeatherFlow Smart Weatherstation
Greetings all. I've been doing some development work on adding WeatherFlow Tempest support within CumulusMX. I'm to a point where I need some rain data to make sure that piece is working properly. We don't get much rain where I live so it could be months before I see any. I'm looking for a few folks...

Re: Easiest way to integrate data into home automation
Hello, I'm using Samsung Smarthings for home automation. I didn't attempt to integrate with Cumulus, however, there's some shared code (smartthings calls them device handlers) that allows for pulling my weather station information, that I uploaded, from Weather Underground. It also allows me to grab...
