My WMRS200 WGR800 Wind Vane reports N only. Something is cooked - Wind Speed is 100% working. I dismantled it and could see no signs of corrosion. over the thing I can hear the reed switches click.
I cannot afford a replacement

Additionally, I'll confirm the transmitter is not sending packets - the LED upon initialization either shows solid, with notable flashing - but this is each second and permanent, or not at all. The transmitter cannot reliably read it's own state.
