Re: MX and mysql data indexes
Ok makes sense , Like i said im not close to an expert I like to read about how things work and saw indexing helps for certain data type and figured this was going to grow over the years so maybe start now while its young. MX and mysql data indexes
Would like to know if anyone has done any indexing to tables, like monthly or realtime ? I only have a few years on it and about 1.7 million records so in time it will grow even larger, most query's are quick and a few taking less than half to almost a full second to do, as it has been increasing ov...

Re: Configure the MySQL Settings
first is your synology accepting remote connections? did you set up a sql user with the right permissions to the database for mx?
the mx configuration is pretty much straight forward for inserting into the data base, have you looked at your log files for any errors (mx diag)

Re: Is anyone using MX on Kubuntu?
Yes it will work fine, read up on how to install it here https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=12908 The default mono package will work fine, I don't connect mine by USB but I believe that should not be a problem with your version it should detect it without any additional packages.

Re: SSL
Its because you are getting the script from another site and not using https, so there are 2 things you can do 1. change that scripts URL to "https://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.11.1.min.js" that will serve from a secure site 2. download the script to your host and the point to the file where...

Re: difference between 192.168.1.100 & localhost
browser may have cache the files and thats what your seeing, restart or clear cache and see what happens ( i think with chrome hold shift key while refreshing page will do it)
Yes localhost and the host ip would be the same just like 127.0.0.1

Re: Cumulus MX build 3048 LOOP2
Thanks for the info Mark. I just updated the firmware to 3.80 and was on 3.15, I saw in the wiki "The LOOP2 packet is supported on the VP2 with firmware version 1.90 or later, and on the Vue." When I updated it reported 3.15 and bootloader 1.9 -- I did a quick search and didnt find much on...

Re: mono crashed when starting cumulusMX
two things i would try, first completly remove mono and the reinstall and see if it works. if you still get an error maybe invoking verbose on starting may help a little more like mono -v CumulusMX.exe if not then remove and downgrade to another version know to work, I am using version 4.6.2 (Debian...
