Re: What to do with data from MySQL

Are you also savinging the monthly too? MX does this for you if you have it setup.

Now what you can do is -- all the things just have to learn how to get the data you want then display said data charts graphs or whatever.

Re: CMX on an x86 tablet?

My only concern is, how stable will it be? The only way will be to try it. I won't be getting it for a few weeks, but i'm certainly interested in how it will perform! :) Good to hear extra usb ports I would think if thats all that is running should be ok with 2gig of ram. if posible do a clean inst...

Re: CMX on an x86 tablet?

i would think it would work fine as long as it has 2 usb ports or a dedicated charge port. That atom processor may have more compute power than a raspi

Re: Huge MXDiags file

in linux you could split the file into more readable sizes. it is large to say the least, do you have debugging enabled? in linux you could also use vim (vi) it works fine for me with large files and you can easily skip lines but as far as the size had to be an issue like Steve said or maybe connec...

Re: Current conditions, php and MySQL

alot depends on if you want to pull the data right from the database live for your page. Yes there are many ways to do anything you want. most of my site data is right from the data base other than values that cumulus generates. You can use php to query data into an array then you can just use php e...

Re: Logfile storage location

Your 2nd option would be better and easier to maintain, if your nas supports nfs that would be the way to go.

Unless you put an ssd to your raspi.
