Re: I have a puzzling issue which may or may not be Linux/CMX
you can try lsof -U (might have to pipe it to less to page through it all like lsof -U|less )
you should be able to see what process taking it all up, then whatever process is is you can use killall nameofprocess
once you know what it is then you can look into why it doing bad things

Re: What's happened to "Mono"?
Redhat has been making many changes over the years and I thought they stopped centos a few years ago or something, I thinks its all about the money for them. Now the different distros do maintain their version of mono in their repositories, may not be the latest version but at least they should be s...

Re: Web tag error with davis wll
OK first these errors are generated from cutils when its run, so where would I add (specify) transmitter id, dont see any options in gui settings, and not sure to add to cumulusutils.ini file or into cumulus.ini file. Or would it be something else? and what is the format like transmitter id=1

Web tag error with davis wll
Running a linux vm for cumulus that connects to my davis wll, all seems to work well other than the Web tag error problem. dont know if the wll doesnt output the tokens for the webtags or just a misconfiguration on my side.
see mxdiags file attached.

Re: File ownership Issue
@hahniv If your going to run without the sudo make sure you chown all the files within CumulusMX directory first like sudo chown -R alt:alt /home/alt/cumulusMX or course make sure that is the dir that cumulus is in. @HansR Thanks honestly didnt know cmx was able to run as a user now, many years ago ...

Re: File ownership Issue
When you run "sudo mono CumulusMX.exe" it is running as the root user (sudo is to run under as different user and defaults to root user unless you specify another user), so this is why the files modified by cumulus are owned by root. What Hansr suggested is a work around, but you need to s...

Re: File ownership Issue
The files were most likely owned by root:root as you run cmx with mono using the sudo command to elevate privileges for it to run, so any file created or modified with cmx will be owned by root. This should not be a problem seeing you have root access for the system, or if you're backing up files un...

Re: Accessing Davis Weatherlink live with WAN IP
so the wll is connected with mobile 4g? Most cell carriers block all the ports on wireless networks as a lot are done with a carrier NAT (one of the reasons why we haven't run out of ip4 addresses yet).

Re: New PW-forecast.php script for international/multilingual forecasts
That works out nicely thanks, also if you want the daily forecast to be hoverable like the rest of the site, (I didnt like the look on the new hourly page), on line or about line 1381 you can add that class to it like <table style="border: 0" width="640px" class="PWforecast ...
