That was the error in the brower. Here's the message in the terminal: System.IO.IOException: Write failure ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: Connection reset by peer at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.Send (System.Byte[] buf, Int32 offset, Int32 size, SocketFlags flags) [0x00000] in <filename unkno...

Re: Cumulus error light blinking

I leave it turned on in its docking station all day and it remains on the whole time. i then turn off cumulus and the computer when i sleep. i do wonder about the network. i live in a very remote place and my internet comes over a satellite with lots of latency. and sometimes the weather knocks out ...

Re: Cumulus error light blinking

Actually, it does lok as though there there are data gaps in the graphs on cumulus and wu that correspond to the errors. Perhaps it is a network fail due to lack of bandwidth or loss of network function?

Re: Cumulus error light blinking

Thanks!

Data input appears to have stopped -- check you station and connections.

Did the connection time out from time to time? The graphs on Cumulus and WU seem to be complete -- no missing data or gaps. Do you think maybe iut timed out and then caught itself up when reestablished contact?

Cumulus error light blinking

I've got latest Cumulus 1 running and it is successfully communicating with my VP2+ and uploading this up to WUI once per minute. Rapid fire is currently turned off. I turn off the application each night before turning in and restart int he morning. It successfully catches up WU. But after two oir m...

Re: PWS catch up

Well Steve, I woke up early and turned on the computer and fired up Cumulus and it did exactly what you said it would! It downloaded all last night's data and then caught up WU.. fantastic! Thanks so much. Can't wait to get my RPi system up and running next week or so....I'm hoping to get it feeding...

Re: PWS catch up

data log interval in Cumulus is set to one minute. archive interval onvp2 is also set to one minute. are these the two variables i need to make sure match or is there something else on the vp2 that ought to be set to one minute?

Re: PWS catch up

my apologies for hijacking this thread a bit. I've made sure all settings correspond between my vp2 and cumulus and it receives all the data perfectly well. But it still seems unable to catch up when i restart Cumulus after a power down or after just closing the application. Maybe I am not understan...
