Re: UV Gauge Issue

Success! I had played with "gaugeGlobals.uvScaleDefMax" before without luck but must have done something different this time because it worked :D Thanks again. cache.maxValue = Math.max(cache.value, cache.maxMeasured, gaugeGlobals.uvScaleDefMax); cache.maxValue = nextHighest(cache.maxValue...

Re: UV Gauge Issue

Hmm - can't edit that last post. Could this be needed? gaugeGlobals.uvScaleDefMax I have played with adding this because the solar irradiation gauge has a similar entry at the top of the script and this in its if statement: cache.maxValue = Math.max(cache.value, cache.currMaxValue, cache.maxToday, g...

Re: UV Gauge Issue

Now my needle is endlessly dropping to zero about every 3 seconds then climbing back up.

I had this happen with several of my attempts.

Re: UV Gauge Issue

Trying to get my UV gauge to rescale to default at midnight like the rest of them do. Thought I had figured it out ... added "ssGauge.setValue(0);" to the if statement you provided but no joy  Experimenting with this is hard due to only being able to test it once a day when midnight r...

Re: UV Gauge Issue

That works, thank you very much! What makes the gauges that have rescaled during the day to revert back to their initial scale? My solar, rain and rain rate all reset at midnight (I think the wind does this to but it didn't get a high enough gust to rescale yesterday) but my UV scale stays where it ...

Re: UV Gauge Issue

Can't post a link - I don't post a web page and am working with the interface. I have done a lot of experimenting trying to figure this out using the rain rate and solar gauges as guides. The best I came up with was the UV gauge would work how I wanted until midnight, then the tick marks disappeared...

Re: setting up cumulus mx for website

ok thanks yes i understand this for the setting. ive edited the local webpage to not show the settings tabs anymore for this reason . although someone could possibly access if they knew the setting address for them pages. I pondered doing this myself and along with taking the steps you mention, I d...

UV Gauge Issue

I thought I had noticed an irregularity with my UV gauge before posting about the solar wedge issue but couldn't remember the details ... it just happened again today so I will report it now. I realize that I chose to change from the default bargraph to a dial gauge and may be the only one to do tha...

Re: Solar Gauge "Wedge" Issue

Working perfectly as far as I can see now. The little voice in the back of my mind was telling that a "+ 100" somewhere would make it do what I wanted :)

Thanks again.

Re: Server Generated Graphs for MX

Can one make the popup graphs work on the CMX interface (running on rPi)?

There is enough information here that I think I could bumble my way through setting them up for a web site. Thing is I don't do a web site and just use the interface in house.

Thanks.

Re: Solar Gauge "Wedge" Issue

Jumped the gun a bit on my report - I had already had a W/m2 reading above 1000 when I got things sorted yesterday. Today, the wedge still slowly disappeared as the theoretical approached 1000. When the clouds cleared and the actual reading exceeded 1000 redrawing the range, the wedge reappeared cor...

Re: Solar Gauge "Wedge" Issue

Thanks - working well now.

I had never upgraded from the 2.5.5 script that is included in the CMX download and this doesn't work with that version.

This forced me to finally get around to figuring out how to upgrade the gauges and deciphering my notes on the modifications I had made to gauges.js :D

Solar Gauge "Wedge" Issue

I originally posted this in the Cumulus MX forum as I wasn't sure if it was a program bug or something to do with the gauges. I didn't get any replies and after some experimenting I discovered it is to do with the gauges so I will post here. The shaded background "wedge" for the current th...

Re: Interface HTML/JS Puzzle

I had fooled with trying to add those statements to gauges.js already and tried again - with anything I have tried either the gauges don't load at all or they load but don't "connect". I am happy that my customized "gauges" page does work by adding dashboard.js to the page. Thank...

Re: Average Wind Pointer

Not easily! That rings true for me lol Try as I might, I couldn't get any pointer to disappear, let alone the one in question. The good news for me is that I decided I like the looks of the average wind pointer better than having the rose data in the direction gauge anyway so it's a moot point now....
