Re: New IP Camera

No problems here viewing on an iPad. Weather looks more like Manchester than sunny Somerset. :D

Look forward to hearing how you get on.

Another thing you could check is if the firmware is up to date.

Also, try unplugging from mains and take batteries out. When you power it up again and connect it to a PC run through the WeatherLink setup procedure and see what happens then.

Sorry, can't think of anything else.

Re: Davis Vantage Pro 2 - Barometric Pressure - 1100 hPA - Impossible

HivWatts, Ah, down under. Still doesn't explain the weird pressure reading. Out of interest what altitude have you entered? It's a bizarre problem which I have never come across before. If it's only 2 months old and presumably bought new you would appear to have a reasonable claim for a swap? Have y...

Can you move the console to a different room? Start simple and go from there. Also, can you run it from mains power?

I'm guessing you're in the U.K. by the units on the console. Always helpful to have it in your personal details.

Where did you buy the Davis from?

Re: Lowest Monthly Rainfall record desired on website

Thanks Steve. I changed all the instances and pleased to report it's pulling back the right rainfall for each month. http://www.cheadlehulmeweather.co.uk/monthlyrecord.htm But it's not showing which year it occurred in. Have I missed something or have you? I can sort the formatting easy enough. I ma...

I think so. I added some formatting to make alternate lines a different background colour.

Re: Lowest Monthly Rainfall record desired on website

Steve, Greatly appreciate you taking the time to write this for me. So far so good but I have one query. You wrote... After the line "document.getElementById('MonthlyRainHT').innerHTML = monthlyrainT[month];", add: But I can't see a line with that in it. I do have one that says... document...

Re: Lowest Monthly Rainfall record desired on website

Hi Steve, This is the result of outputting the data to a plain text file. The titles are optional. The delimiters can be changed to whatever Java prefers. "Year","1","2","3","4","5","6","7","8","9",&q...

Re: Lowest Monthly Rainfall record desired on website

Hi Ray, I am still using Cumulus 1 and do what Mark is saying, use the ImportCumulus script to import the dayfile in my website MySQL database, once a day after midnight using the Cumulus toolbox for that scheduling, and manually import the monthly log files as well (also do it for realtime.txt). H...

mcrossley wrote:MX makes it easier, but you can stay with Cumulus 1 and use the ImportCumulus script to import the dayfile once a day after midnight (and monthly data file as well if you like - though that is not used as much).

Thanks Mark. I'll take a look at what's involved.

Mark,

How much work is involved in that? Switching to Cumulus MX?
