Re: Cumulus 1 Freezes - revisited!
Might it be worth looking at Event Viewer. That logs many things and there might be something relating to the lockup / freeze.
Start - Run - eventvwr.
On the left pane select Event Viewer (Local) and look for Errors or Warnings in the last hour or 24 hours.

I've embedded the forecast widget from forecast.co.uk into my main page. Thanks to that site for providing the service.

Re: UK Metoffice retiring embedded widget service
Just did a quick search. This one looks a possibility. Code has to be emailed to you but that's not a problem.

Thanks for the warning. Very disappointing they're stopping this service. No reason given. Strange there is no date on the statement.

Re: Cumulus cannot read data
I’m afraid I can’t determine what the problem is but as Steve has already replied to you I’m sure he’ll have the answer.
I also run Cumulus 1 from a VP2 and it’s extremely reliable. Hop you get things sorted soon.

Re: Cumulus cannot read data
Wrong files I'm afraid. Go to the Diags folder and upload the latest file. You'll probably have a few as a new one is created each time Cumulus is started. It will be named similar to cumulus.003 - probably a different file extension number.

Re: Cumulus cannot read data
The log file will tell you what the problem is. It's in the log folder under Cumulus. Although the file extension is numeric you can open then with Notepad (or better still,Notepad++). Free download.
Zip up the latest log and post here. Someone should be able to work out what's happened.
