Which files need to be uploaded to website? Is it the files in" webfiles" folder or "web" folder? And do the files within the folder have to be uploaded separately?
Help please.

Re: WMR-928 Via Serial to USB on Raspberry Pi
You can add a serial port to your Pi with this :- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MAX3232-RS232-Serial-Port-To-TTL-Converter-Module-DB9-Connector-With-Cable-HC-/251716040946?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3a9b71f8f2 Also see here :- http://www.davidhunt.ie/add-a-9-pin-serial-port-to-your-raspberry-pi-...

Re: realtime text file
Thank you,
Changing time to 10 or 15 secs makes no difference.
With ftp rename ticked realtime.txt does not update at all but realtime.txttmp does, with rename unticked realtime.txt does and realtime.txttmp does not.

Re: realtime text file
Thank you all for your replies.
I am still having problems. The realtime.txt file stops updating randomly and intermittently.
Only the realtime file is affected all others ( index.htm etc.) are OK.
Any ideas anyone?
Cheers,
Laurie.

realtime text file
My realtime text file is set to update every 5 seconds but recently it has started disappearing from my web space. When it is present it updates correctly every 5 seconds.
Any ideas anyone?
Cheers,
Laurie.

Re: WMR-928NX pressure set up
I'm still a little confused as to correct set up for pressure. On my WS2300 the local pressure was set as relative pressure and displayed by Cumulus. My new WMR928 can only be adjusted for sea level. I have set this from figures on Met Office web site for Bridlington, which is nearest to me, ( about...

USB to Serial device -- solution
I have purchased a new adaptor fitted with FTDI chipset. Worked straight out of box with no intervention other than setting COM port. http://www.usbnow.co.uk/p48/USB_to_RS23 ... _info.html

Re: WMR-928NX pressure set up
Update:- Slight adustment carried out on resistor values, 330 ohm changed to 100 ohm now seems stable and accurate. USB to serial adaptor arrived. Worked first time with no intervention other than COM port setting.

Re: WMR-928NX pressure set up
As 11mb seemed too far out I decided to investigate the possibility of adjusting the pressure reading to be more accurate. I opened the unit to see how pressure is measured. It uses a MPXM2102A sensor the output is fed into a dual op-amp. The PCB appears to have been designed to take a potentiometer...

Re: WMR-928NX pressure set up
Thanks Steve. So it seems to me that this is a Mickey Mouse product. The local pressure reading on my unit is 11 mb too low. Surely this is not acceptable? Many thanks.

Re: WMR-928NX pressure set up
Many thanks Steve, Seems a bit Heath Robinson. So if I adjust sea level figure to some arbitrary value until local pressure is correct will Cumulus work OK with that ? Also what will the indoor LCD unit show, does the console "talk back" to it?

WMR-928NX pressure set up
What is the correct way to set up pressure reading. It is very low compared to my other stations and aneroid barometer. I have set sea level setting, does the pressure data come only from indoor temp. sensor or is it in main console? It does not appear possible to calibrate local current pressure. I...

Re: WMR-968 console source
I found one on Ebay:- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Replacement-WMR928-Weather-Station-Console_W0QQitemZ110488435508QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_3?hash=item19b99fbb34 seems expensive though. I purchased a complete WMR-928NX for £192 last week on Ebay from a German seller, not there now though, unless...
