Thanks for the feedback - that must have been one of the changes I'd forgotten about!

Re: Question for Steve - Latest Update Package 3042

Those are quite different to the Cumulus standard pages. Finding out which one is causing the problem is tricky, except that it clearly has 'Apparent Temperature' on it, but that doesn't help narrow it down much. The code in your index.htm page looks quite broken (odd bits of PHP, unclosed PHP secti...

Re: Question for Steve - Latest Update Package 3042

Some kind of problem processing one of your web pages prior to upload, most likely because the structure of the page is wrong. Are you using the standard Cumulus web pages? Have you modified any of them? Or are you using some other web pages? Are you getting this error on every web update? It's bett...

Re: Question for Steve - Latest Update Package 3042

Sorry! I see what you're saying now. It's the CumulusMXDist3042 folder in the zip which shouldn't be there, not the CumulusMX folder. I understand how that's happened and I will make sure it doesn't happen for future builds. So CumulusMXDist3043.zip will contain a folder called CumulusMX and that fo...

Re: Meteobridge pass thru" question

My understanding (I also have a MB) is that it does not archive data - it has limited storage and retains a limited history but not data at set intervals. That may be true, but the station holds an archive independently of Meteobridge (assuming a Davis or other station type which does maintain an a...

Re: Question for Steve - Latest Update Package 3042

Yes, I did that this time, for 3042, and it looks like I did the same for 3041 (I have a downloaded copy of that zip on my laptop), but before that the CumulusMX subfolder wasn't there?

Re: Question for Steve - Latest Update Package 3042

I noticed that myself, and I wasn't sure. This is the first build I have done away from home, on my laptop. I have a copy of build 3041, and I used that as a basis for build 3042 - the copy that I have has that extra CumulusMX subfolder, so build 3042 does too. I can quite believe that the releases ...

Re: Meteobridge pass thru" question

This is really a question for Meteobridge rather than Cumulus - Cumulus doesn't know or care that it's connected via Meteobridge, it will ask for the archive data as usual and hopefully Meteobridge will supply it. The station will be logging regardless of whether Meteobridge is running or not (unles...

Re: Request to Davis owners with USB loggers

took almost 8 minutes before things went back to normal after startup The logger sent its entire contents, because you have its interval set to 30 minutes, and MX to something else, as in this FAQ - http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/FAQ#Cumulus_takes_a_long_time_to_download_the_data_from_my_Davis_statio...

Re: Rainfall This Month and Year not Showing on Table

In the wiki: http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Dayfile.txt

MX currently has no built in editor for the log files, which makes it a bit harder to do manual alterations.

Re: Rainfall This Month and Year not Showing on Table

Monthly and annual totals are calculated at startup from the daily totals in dayfile.txt, so I suspect that having set that 2.81 to zero all of your entries in dayfile.txt are zero. You need to stop MX and edit one or more entries in dayfile.txt, and then restart MX.

I've implemented the forced updating of the barometer in build 3042, which I've just uploaded.
