Re: Re-downloading last 5 days data?

It doesn’t use the console time, so that wasn’t the problem. It sounds like it has done a reset, so the memory pointer is no longer at the same place, so I think you’re probably not going to be able to get the missing data. You can edit the data files to remove the invalid data - lots of info in the ...

Re: Bad value causing wrong record temp

You will need to edit the files manually, MX has no facility for recreating all tIme records. There is an article in the FAQ about correcting data, and more information in the wiki, all of which applies to MX apart from the lack of the built in editors. Which files you need to edit depends on which ...

Re: CumulusMX trends webpage

You can use them with Cumulus 1, I “borrowed” them from Mark. There should be a thread about the originals somewhere, and/or an article in the wiki.

Re: Lack of updates

It’s not simply a case of just making those changes, and in any case it’s far from clear that this later version would actually solve the specific problem of Fine Offset stations not being detected. The first post in this thread still applies, i.e. I have no idea when the next build will be released...

Re: Raspberry 3 with USB station not working

Ah, OK, you wouldn’t normally need that as far as I know, assuming you were running it as root (with sudo) but perhaps for some reason it’s needed on your system.

Re: Lack of updates

As implied, that won’t work without changes to MX.

Re: Help!

Cumulus isn’t a backup program, I’m afraid that taking backups is your own responsibility. It takes copies of the data files (only) purely for the purposes of ‘rewinding’ to a previous point in time. It sounds like your Cumulus.ini file was corrupted by the crash - assuming that you are still runnin...

Re: Raspberry 3 with USB station not working

What does the MX diags file say? Fine Offset station not found? Do you have libudev0 installed?

Re: VP2 DAVIS

You have to have your usb logger configured to serial mode so that it can be accessed using a serial port identifier. It sounds like you are running it in ‘usb express’ mode. There is a FAQ about this, most of which also applies to MX.

Re: Ajax Dashboard - days since rain

The last rain tip time is held in today.ini and you can change it by stopping Cumulus and editing that file.

Re: NOAA Report Issue

With any errors corrected, it should be possible to recreate the report immediately. It sounds like there is still a corruption in either the December log file or dayfile.txt, but it’s odd that no error messages are logged to the diags file.
