Re: Behaviour of "today" tags at the end of the day

I don’t propose to change that behaviour (if I ever do any more development) as I believe it’s correct (any actions will be just after 0900 so a new day has already started). However, I do agree with you that being able to use the figures before they are reset would be useful. One of the enhancement...

Re: Solar Radiation Constantly Maxed Out?

The MX interface is completely user editable. So if there are items being displayed for sensors which you don’t actually have (which I think is what you’re saying), you can edit the files in the interface directory so that they aren’t displayed. Or, if you don’t feel able to do that, you can just ig...

Re: Running MX as a second Cumulus on same computer

In the TCP/IP settings, you need the TCP port that the logger is using, not the Cumulus interface port.

Re: Monthly records

...unless you mean the highs and lows for the current month, in which case it’s in month.ini, and I can’t remember whether there’s a built in editor for that.

Re: Monthly records

It’s in monthlyalltime.ini, but you can use the built-in editor in Cumulus to edit it.

Re: Windows 10 upgrade

It’s getting unexpected data from the station, perhaps because of changed USB drivers.

Re: Instructions: Installing CumulusMX on Raspberry Pi

A point about the Mono version - it’s the USB library which doesn’t work with later versions, so the issue affects Fine Offset stations and the later Oregon Scientific stations (WMR88/100/200 etc). Other stations should be fine.

Re: Wet Bulb Calibration

With 'extra sensors' selected, the second temperature reading is used simply as an extra temperature reading (with no calibration possible). With it unselected, the second temperature reading is used as the wet bulb temperature, to which the wet bulb calibration settings are applied.

The last 24 hour figure is probably correct, you can use the 'today's rain' editor to correct today's rain.

If you zip up the diags folder and attach it, I’ll take a look.

Paul, there are ‘solar’ and ‘UV’ checkboxes on the ‘files’ tab, which I think have the effect you’re looking for.

Re: Unhandeled Exception Help Please

It looks like the connection to the console was lost. Is your IP logger uploading to weatherlink.com? The logger can only handle one connection at a time, which is why Cumulus has the ‘periodic disconnect’ setting, in an attempt to work around this.

That may be the problem, but I don’t know how you would reinstate it, sorry.

Perhaps the tokens encode some information about the installation, I don’t really know.

Re: Posting to TWITTER from multiple weather stations

ExperiMentor wrote:But you need to be careful to not exceed the twitter character limit as Cumulus doesn't seem to check

It’s very difficult to do the check as the size that Cumulus sends does not necessarily correspond to the size that Twitter ends up with.
