I’m unavailable

I’m sorry but I’m probably not going to be looking at the forum (or providing any other support) for the foreseeable future due to a family situation that is going to require all of my attention.

Re: Monthly High/Low webtags not updating

I think it keeps the last 10 normally, so if you don’t have 10 perhaps that is another symptom of whatever your problem is.

Re: Monthly High/Low webtags not updating

It’s possible that it didn’t manage to take a daily backup due to whatever the failure was (but I think it’s the first thing it does). But there should at least be one from the day before. What files do you have in the backup\daily folder? The folder you’ve attached is not a daily backup, so presuma...

That has a previous closedown time stamp of 1730 on 1st Feb, so it looks like you used the wrong backup set, that one is after the end of month rollover at 0900, it needs to be the one from 0900 from the daily backups.

The MXdiags file from that run should show what happened.

Re: Monthly High/Low webtags not updating

I can see where it started to do the end of month rollover at 0900 on Feb 1st, but there are no signs of any error messages related to any of the other tasks it should have done at that time. I can’t remember what other messages normally get logged at end of month, but I’m pretty sure there are more...

Re: Monthly High/Low webtags not updating

The most likely reason I can think of is that the end of day rollover didn’t take place on Jan 31st, and hence neither did the end of month rollover. Your January NOAA report is missing the 31st, which points to the same cause. Are you allowing the computer to sleep while Cumulus is running? Do you ...

Re: Twitter

Twitter changed their method for obtaining authentication tokens, and Cumulus can no longer obtain them, so removing them from Cumulus.ini will definitely not work. It is possible that the tokens are machine specific, so copying them from one computer to another apparently doesn’t work either.

Re: Dayfile.txt Lost

Having driven 300 miles today I’m far too tired to do the calculation, but I think that recorded rate only requires two tips a second apart. I’ll concede that it also may have been a glitch ;)

Re: Dayfile.txt Lost

It may be correct if you had a moderate amount of rain in a very short time, which it appears you did, due to the way the Davis determines rainfall rate (time between tips).

Re: Dayfile.txt Lost

Incorrect data readings wouldn't cause data to be deleted from dayfile.txt, nor would anything else have caused Cumulus to delete data. It must have been something else, impossible to say what.
