Re: PC format -> files now have a point interleaved. (jul.18log.txt). Help me!!!

You should be able to fix it by going into your Windows regional settings and changing the short date format.

Re: Communication problem or something more?

Looks like some kind of communication issue, data stops arriving from the console. That's all you can tell from the Cumulus log.

Re: FTP problem

It apparently can't connect to the server. There may be more information in the ftp log if you turn that on.

Re: Air Pressure on display console

You can't offset the 'absolute pressure', but you should set it to display 'relative pressure' which you can adjust to be correct for your location. Can't remember how you do that, but I'm pretty sure there's a FAQ about this which may contain or reference the instructions.

Re: CMX "Changes you made may not be saved." Pop-up

It's not something that MX does itself, so I don't know where it would be coming from. It does sound like it's coming from the javascript engine in the browser, for whatever reason.

Re: WiFiLogger for Davis stations

This is the issue I described above, the connection was closed and MX does not handle it. You are unlikely to get MX to play nicely in a situation where the connection can get closed while it is using it, regardless of settings.

Re: Daylight Savings

It's apparently not attempting to set the station clock (otherwise there would be messages locked about it immediately before those lines, just after it prints the "Last update time = " message). I'm afraid I have no idea why that would be, if you had the setting selected at the time of th...

Re: Daylight Savings

But later in the diags file there should be something about setting the console clock and reading it.

Re: Cumulus Realtime.txt Dashboard Template

Free servers sometimes restrict the types of files they allow, e.g. .txt files in particular sometimes do not work.

Re: Evaptranspiration Today

Cumulus does it in the same way as it does rainfall. It gets the annual total from the station periodically, and subtracts the value saved at midnight from the current reading. I can't tell you how the station calculates the figure.

Re: Daylight Savings

There should be some logging in the diags file when/if it tries to set the time, near the beginning of the file (i.e. just after startup) and then again just after 0400. May show something useful.

Re: WiFiLogger for Davis stations

Disconnect period (VP2PeriodicDisconnectInterval)=? DavisIPResponseTime=1000 and RestartIfDataStops=1 Are these now fully functional in CumulusMX? VP2PeriodicDisconnectInterval: When the clock minute changes, Cumulus stops the current stream of data from the console, disconnects, waits for the spec...
