Re: ajaxdate
...but if you just created a new realtime.txt file with the web tags like I've done above and change to what I've changed above. Then, surely that will work. William, your solution is good but it is, in my view, just a 'band aid' solution - it does not correct the limitation of the AJAX 'ajaxCUwx.j...

Re: ajaxdate
is there a a way to change ajaxdate format from 08/15/13 to 08/15/2013 Not an easy way, unfortunately. The AJAX 'ajaxCUwx.js' JavaScript gets its date from the 'realtime.txt' near real time data file - according to the Wiki documentation for the Cumulus produced 'realtime.txt' data file, the data f...

Re: Saratoga AND Vantage Vue 'Live' Console - Beta
Just to add a little fuel to the fire... Steve the ONLY facility (or what ever you would like to call it) that has been available to Cumulus used before being made available to the Weather Display users is the SteelSeries gauges ... and I already had a version of the SteelSeries gauges running under...

Re: PHP Notice: Undefined index?
In order to produce the result you want, you will need to create a new tag (variable) in the 'CUtags.txt' template as such: vpissstatus|<#txbattery channel=1>:|: The reason you cannot use the 'channel=1' option with the '$WX['txbattery']' is that the variable has already been assigned a value (ie: '...

Re: Base-Canada users -- ec-forecast/ec-radar being updated.
Ken, it appears that, once again, Environment Canada has made some additional changes to their forecast pages - I just checked (at 13:45 PDT) both your ' demo ' and ' in-page demo ' and get the same negative results. A while back, I wrote to the people at Environment Canada and one of the administra...

Re: SunPrairie Weather website?
Ken, I was not the one reporting the high CPU usage:
in reference to the United Kingdom Weather Net ... all I wrote was that I did not checked (nor compared) if the more modern maps were using as much CPU as the old maps...mcrossley wrote:Wow, is that page heavy on CPU whilst in 'run' mode!

Re: SunPrairie Weather website?
These maps and sites are using very old PHP designs - here are the results of using new more modern PHP design: 'European Weather Network' - I do not know (I did not check) if this map is using as much CPU power as the old (boring and ugly) maps do...

Re: Question aboute MySQL and WU-Graphs
Which historical data is still unavailable? And if it's being saved to a database, why does it need to be 'historical' anyway? OK, I have waited a few days t reply to your message ... so I could cool off somewhat. I really hate when you take such a defensive attitude when someone comments on your s...

Re: Question aboute MySQL and WU-Graphs
Manuel, I have been running the WU Graphs on my Cumulus pages: [link removed]. The script is getting it data from both Weather Underground and the MySQL database ... but from data produced and saved (directly into the database) by Weather Display... :( I looked at adapting the scripts to the Cumulus...

Re: UPS use, Close on suspend, and hibernation
Mark, I have two CyberPower UPS. I use the PowerPanel Business Edition software for both UPS (offers more flexibility than the PowerPanel Personal Edition software). The PPBE software offers two shutdown types: 'Hibernate' and 'Shutdown' - I have set both PPBE software to use the 'Shutdown' type aft...
