Re: Cumulus MX (Cumulus 3) beta test
Sorry I am late to the party, but I would also like to join in the beta testing. I shall be using a Raspberry Pi with a Fine Offset station. Excited to test on a setup that can remain battery powered for extended periods.

Build 1074
Thanks for this. Announcement post incorrectly refers to Build 1073, which was yesterday's news.

Last Rain - Bug?
Noticed today that #LastRainTipISO seems to record even if the actual 'rain' is a spike which is ignored by Cumulus through the settings set in Configuration. So currently my tooltip and web tag show last rain as today 13:48:27, when in fact last rain accepted as valid is 13:15. Error log shows entr...

Yesterday webtag
Thanks Steve for the <#yesterday> webtag, which I requested only a short while ago. Brilliant to have it included in the very next beta build. This is astonishingly good service. I have donated again - your support for and development of Cumulus is without peer! I already have the tag in action, usi...

Re: Wind direction thumbnail graph - bad image quality
Thanks from me as well - Ive been niggled by this issue for months, but never enough till now to hunt properly for the solution! For anyone who stumbles across this thread in the future, the solution in more detail is: In Cumulus, open Configuration Menu. Choose Colours. From new window, in Graphs s...

Re: Graph Scaling
I've had this problem recently (and never noticed before build 1041). Restart has fixed it for me as well.
Puzzled that autoscaling has never failed for me in the past - and I tend to leave Cumulus running for two to three weeks between Windows restarts.

Re: New console - backlight on permanently
As far as I know, the backlight cannot be forced to stay on. Mine does that because of (assumed) fault.

Re: New console - backlight on permanently
In the end, I decided to leave the back-light running permanently as I find this occasionally useful (when computer is off, or for some reason I don't want to bring Cumulus to the fore on the screen). I have overcome issues about battery drain by connecting the console via a powered USB hub, so exte...

Re: New console - backlight on permanently
have you tried a hard reset? If this means a battery removal and re-start, then yes. And it's made no difference. And thanks to Roy and Alan for the information about the transistor that controls the light. Returning the unit would be a pain, as I have brought it back to France from the UK delivery...

New console - backlight on permanently
I've just replaced my console, because the the old pressure sensor went defective. The old one was a WH-8681 bought from Maplins. The new one is not badged on the front but is a WH1080 (bought from the UK Weather Store via EBay). Everything has worked immediately and well, and although I bought the ...

I have the same problem Philip, so I am looking forward to hearing whether you are successful in replacing the sensor.

Re: Sunshine Recorder
From the way the total of grey+yellow increases, I infer that it must be day length, so the grey will be daylight below the 'sunny' threshold?
