Re: Backgroundimage

Read this viewtopic.php?f=14&t=1657 for inspiration - you may decide to use a forecast icon rather than change the background image - there is a link to some icons produced by a member towards the end.

... else do search ;)

Re: Icon

At the moment you are refreshing the entire page every 20s.

You need to investigate the many posts and software tips about using javascript / jscript to 'read' realtime.txt and make decisions to dynamically change specified content (which have a 'name').

Re: Cumulus Realtime.txt Dashboard Template

Don't be sorry ....

You've given everyone a new look at design / presentation...

... and will (for the moment at least) continue in two different languages.

I applaud :clap: the work and commitment you have already done :D

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)

Thanks Mark. :clap:

Only problem is I don't actually have a script which works accross all versions of php :bash:

I'll have to go back to the 'base' release when I can get my tired old head around it - thought, did it behave like this in earlier php releases ?

Re: PHP Web 'viewer' for Cumulus NOAA Style reports

Your page 'charset' is probably not correctly being applied - there have been problems like this on other things as well.

Hopefully someone using your language can come to the rescue.

A link to your page please ......

the beteljuice thinks he has made it php 5.x > php 7.0.x compatible. ... also an existing non-fatal missing declaration fixed. Could someone using php5 AND someone using php7 please test this attachment against what they current have. DON'T FORGET to back-up your existing betel_readDayfile.php and t...

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)

The beteljuice is still unconvinced about the 'workaround'

I've just spent several hours trying to get it to work accross php versions and the figures just aren't correct in either one place or another !

... to do list

Re: webcam

Hmm ...
The only thing I can see (unless some of the jquery stuff is hanging) is that line #73

Code: Select all

imgsrc = "../images/webcam.jpg"

is missing the closing ;

Code: Select all

imgsrc = "../images/webcam.jpg";

Re: Sunshine Recorder

Good to hear from you again Ole.

I've looked at the site a few times, but everything seemed to be 'old' news.

Any of the more established weather community or manufacturors shown any interest ?
