Re: How To embed HTML page inside PHP without an IFRAME

It is unclear from the above if some the includes are true php (require processing) or are simply stuff that should be pasted in a html environment. The easiest way to use html is to simply give it a .php extension, put in your usual html headers etc. and use <?php .... ?> In the required locations ;)

Re: Checking your site

@ Mark - It lies !

I checked your site with FF no problems.

I also checked a large busy national site and the later emulations never finished loading.

Re: Tag <#time> not working

Before we start escaping quotes and things - it would be useful if you had a test page link so that we could see what the Cumulus formated date looks like in the input string.

Doesn't have to be a page that 'runs' - just the code after Cumulus has processed it.

Re: Tag <#time> not working

Try ....

Code: Select all

<input type="hidden" name="formvar" value= '<#time format="yyyy-mmmm-d hh:nn">'

Your javascript var isn't "quoted" ;)

Re: The End of Weather Display nears

Sad Indeed - especially given the current demeanor of most weather SW creators at the moment. All of them have given considerable amounts of time, effort and their own money to ensure what they are giving will work with the latest kit and software(s). In all these cases they have also welcomed infor...

Re: Backgroundimage

Read this viewtopic.php?f=14&t=1657 for inspiration - you may decide to use a forecast icon rather than change the background image - there is a link to some icons produced by a member towards the end.

... else do search ;)

Re: Icon

At the moment you are refreshing the entire page every 20s.

You need to investigate the many posts and software tips about using javascript / jscript to 'read' realtime.txt and make decisions to dynamically change specified content (which have a 'name').

Re: Cumulus Realtime.txt Dashboard Template

Don't be sorry ....

You've given everyone a new look at design / presentation...

... and will (for the moment at least) continue in two different languages.

I applaud  the work and commitment you have already done :D

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)

Thanks Mark.

Only problem is I don't actually have a script which works accross all versions of php :bash:

I'll have to go back to the 'base' release when I can get my tired old head around it - thought, did it behave like this in earlier php releases ?

Re: PHP Web 'viewer' for Cumulus NOAA Style reports

Your page 'charset' is probably not correctly being applied - there have been problems like this on other things as well.

Hopefully someone using your language can come to the rescue.

A link to your page please ......
