Re: Help and Advice
Apart from a little tidying up still to be done I'm pleased to say I've been able to transfer my site to free webspace from my broadband provider. My weather station is now on www.pc-king.me.uk (it can also be accessed on www.pcking.plus.com ). Unfortunately, I’ve had no success accessing my cgi spa...

Re: Help and Advice
I would like to thank those of you that have responded. I have identified that I have some free legacy hosting with my broadband provider so I am going to see if I can transfer across, it's a bit of a struggle as documentation and support from PlusNet is rather limited but it's looking promising so ...

Help and Advice
Hi, I haven't been on the site for a number of years. I have been running Cumulus and updating my website www.pc-king.co.uk/weather since 2010 and it’s been running fine and I haven’t touched anything for a number of years. I am just turning 70 and my hosting service 123-reg is changing their pricin...

Re: PHP Web 'viewer' for Cumulus NOAA Style reports
Hi Beteljuice, Thanks for replying. I do want to use your pack, in fact that is what I downloaded and attempted to follow but alas I must have got something wrong. Unfortunately, my knowledge is so poor that I don't have the skill to understand or resolve what I've done wrong and your suggestion to ...

Re: PHP Web 'viewer' for Cumulus NOAA Style reports
I wonder if someone might help me out. It's been quite some time since I tinkered with my site and to be honest I'm out of my depth. I've been trying to get the NOAA reports drop down menu to display correctly http://www.pc-king.co.uk/weather/climate.php . Whilst it does work, of sorts, when selecti...

Re: BT's Global Sager Weathercaster PHP Scripts For Cumulus
Woke up this morning to fog (cloud at ground level) but wondered why the forecast was showing showers/rain and because of the temperature this was amended to snow. Taking a look at the php script I noticed that in line 154 ("VV" Clouds cannot be seen because of fog or heavy precipitation, ...

Win 10 system clock running slow
I use a dedicated old laptop to run only Cumulus and Yawcam and since I upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10 I find the system clock loses time, approx. 2 mins per day. I have loaded the latest build 10586 and the problem remains. I just wondered if anyone else has experienced a similar problem and whether...

Yawcam will not start - javaw.exe open with
If like me you're still using Yawcam then you may have encountered an error trying to run it "javaw.exe open with......". I have overcome the problem by copying java.exe and javaw.exe into the C:\Program Files\Yawcam folder. It solved my problem

Annual.htm
My Cumulus has run fault free for a very long time, however, I've noticed that my annual data http://pc-king.co.uk/weather/annual.htm stopped displaying on the 14th June. Now I need some help as I can't think what has caused this and as I've not had to tinker with my site for years and my memory is ...

Re: html files empty
Did you read through all of Steve's release notes? In particular "I have also changed the standard web pages so that they are HTML 5 compliant, and specify a UTF-8 charset. There is a separate UTF-8 option for the standard files, and this is 'on' by default (as the standard files now require it...
