Re: WMR200 station not found!
Update: It seems to be actively reading history now as the index.html webpage for the site appears to be scrolling through showing historical data. All I did differently this time was click in the CMX window a bunch of times and after a short while this seemed to happen. I hadn't tried this interact...

Re: Problems to get Rain gauge to report to CumulusMX
I was running latest versions up to 3.28.3 - build 3280. Now I've gone to build 3282 I've got even more issues: viewtopic.php?t=19837
The station was at least talking to CumulusMX before the last update.

Re: WMR200 station not found!
Mine now appears to have the same problem, directly after updating to build 3282. No problems prior. It either says WMR200 station not found in the CumulusMX window or if not, never gets to "normal running" phase. I have restarted PC / CumulusMX several times. See screenshot. Screenshot 20...

Re: Problems to get Rain gauge to report to CumulusMX
I seem to be having a similar problem, I often get zero rain recorded in CumulusMX after rainy days and the other day I watched by console record over 4mm of rain in an hour, but CumulusMX only recorded 1mm. I thought the connection to the rain gauge from the console was dropping out but now I'm not...

Re: Davis VP/VP2/Vue to MX question
Thanks Paul, Hi, How Does Cumulus MX pick up the data from Davis staions via WLL? CMX uses the WLL IP address to access the live data stream, like with an IP logger. So how often can MX poll this data? So if Cumulus is running all the time then there's no need to have a separate logger with this set...

Re: Davis VP/VP2/Vue to MX question
If you can do without a console then you can just buy a WLL and ISS. Then view the data on your phone/computer via the Davis App/web site, or via CMX and a personal web site. With the WLL, you would need to consider if you also purchase a Pro subscription to WeatherLink.com to get access to histori...

Davis VP/VP2/Vue to MX question
I'm considering getting a Davis station to replace an Oregon Scientific model that I can no longer get parts for, but wondered what the minimum I needed to get them working with Cumulus MX was? Will they log some data and talk to MX out of the box, or do you need to get data loggers/ cables or the W...

Re: Cumulus stalls at start-up
How long should it typically take to read the archive date and history data from the station on startup? Does it depend on PC resources much or more on frequency of logging? I rarely have it disconnected for very long but have noticed it can take a looooong time in the past to download a couple days...

Re: Cumulus stalls at start-up
Of course, now it's made a liar out of me, I let it go for 10 minutes or so and eventually it started by itself without CTRL+C-ing.
Here the recent MXDIAGS folder contents.
I will see if I can replicate the problem I was having and then re-upload. Please let me know if you find anything in there.

Re: Cumulus stalls at start-up
Cumulus has started hanging on startup for me too recently, I intially htough it was just my ancient, slow PC I was running it on but have since installed on a new system and the problem remains. In the Cumulus window it seems to be working fine until the point just after it says: "Start readin...

Re: NOAA reports stopped being saved / uploaded
Thanks, I've changed that setting. I'm beginning to think that the PC that Cumulus is on is causing some of the issues, seems to be very slow to do anything / very unresponsive. For example, lately when I get rain, it doesn't record in Cumulus MX straight away, but then all comes as one big lump som...

I assume I may have to leave the ftplog going overnight to get the answers we may need?

Re: NOAA reports stopped being saved / uploaded
Also you have a number of "extra files" that are set to be copied to a folder starting "www/..." that does not exist. Are those supposed to have FTP enabled rather be be local file copies? Not sure, It was also set up years ago, I think some are supposed to be local that are pro...
