Re: HighCharts - lose the plot gracefully

Made sure I started with a clean graphfixPro.js file from the downloaded zip file, all I did was chanegd: display_plot = [ /* example ["Temperature", ["Temperature", false], ["Wind Chill", true]] */ ]; to display_plot = [ ["Temperature", ["Inside", f...

Re: HighCharts - lose the plot gracefully

Thanks, I have removed all changes for the moment, but will re-do later, and post web link. Re the options now within CumulusMX, I saw those, but from what I could tell they removed the series completely, I wanted a few series to still be there, but not visible by default, giving me the option to ma...

Re: HighCharts - lose the plot gracefully

Have just set this up on the latest version of CumulusMX (v3.9.7 (3107)) and have a small (well 2) issues. All seems to be working (e.g I have hidden the Inside Temperature), however the "Wind Dir." chart now doesn't display, there is just white space where the chart should be. I haven't d...

Re: Switch from Console to WLL

The Meteobridge (the flashed travel router option) seems to have work quite well for me over the last 5 or so years. At the time it was one of the only ways to have the console away (not plugged into) the pc running Cumulus without getting the quite expensive Davis IP logger. Now there are many opti...

Re: Switch from Console to WLL

Yep, just doubled checked and it's set to 0.2mm in Weatherlink live. Both console and WLL show the same amount of rain today (11.4mm). Console: Raincon.JPG WLL rainwll.JPG Couple of things it may be, just noticed the console is maybe about 30 secs fast. Also the console gets its rain via the "r...

Re: Switch from Console to WLL

Just for info, noticed another couple of differences today with Solar / UV. It seems the WLL isn't reporting anything below 7wm2 (the console was 5), and UV is now only 0.6 and above (console was 0.5). Also, just has a very heavy rain shower, Cumulus the WLL is attached to recorded a rain rate of 56...

Re: Switch from Console to WLL

Ok, thanks for locking / checking. Anyway, I like your wind direction and gust "sausage" chart which only shows the ave bearing with gust speed, assume that's done with custom script / SQL. Assume my wind chart didn't show 0mph for speed at the time (13:00 it showed 0.8mph) as (if I read t...

Re: Switch from Console to WLL

That makes sense (and what I was thinking), but 2 things,

1. The wind speed wasn't being shown as 0mph at the time (though it was a very low speed).
2. My original CumulusMX reading from the console still shows a bearing when 0mph, though the Avg bearing does show N when wind speed is 0mph.

Re: Switch from Console to WLL

Found the following on a couple of forums: weather-watch.com forum I also have found out that WLL sends the wind direction as N when no wind wxforum.net forum Learning all the interesting surprises about when the Live Link does and doesn't send data - for example, it stops sending valid wind directi...

Re: Switch from Console to WLL

Latest file from the MXdiags folder attached. I was running debug between about 12:15 and 13:30.

Looking at the chart, there are several times the bearing shows at the top (e.g exactly 13:00).

The wind speed at the time was low, but not totally calm.

Re: Switch from Console to WLL

Under Program settings I have ticked Debug logging and Data logging and pressed Save. Is that it, or do I have to restart. Also, got these chats from this morning (from before I turned on debug). Console: concalm.JPG WLL wllcalm.JPG The wind speed chart shows the wind was calm between about 10:15 an...

Re: Switch from Console to WLL

Thanks for confirming point 1.

Re point 2, the wind chats posted above show the wind about 2mph at the time. I will start in debug mode when I have time later.

Thanks.

Re: Switch from Console to WLL

Set up a version of Cumulus MX on a spare (virtual) server so that I could test the WLL on Cumulus before moving my main install over. The main install is currently 3.9.4 b3099 while the new setup is 3.9.7 b3107. It's been running overnight, and I have noticed the following differences this morning....

Re: Switch from Console to WLL

Thanks. Both Console, Cumulus and WLL have the rain year starting on January, but as I set the WLL up on about the 8th Jan, the readings are different between the console and WLL. Console ytd - 62.2mm Cumulus ytd - 62.2mm today.ini [Rain] High=0 HTime=00:00 HourlyHigh=0 HHourlyTime=00:00 Start=62.20...
