Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)

You have been busy :D I'll be taking a look at the code next week.

One observation, mouse-overs do not work on mobile devices, maybe look at adding touch sensitivity? I'll have a look at the mouse-over on my laptop later....

Re: UK Extremes from the MetOffice

I've updated the zip at the start of the thread so that the demo page uses a *slightly* newer version of jQuery. There are no changes to the forecast module.

Re: UK Extremes from the MetOffice

I'm on my phone so can't easily check things, but I suspect you need to remove the "public_html" bit from the URL.

Re: UK Extremes from the MetOffice

Your page is missing the jquery script. It has...

Code: Select all

<script src="public_html/js/jquery.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

but jquery.js is not found on your server.

Re: 32701 error

A wild stab... You don't have Cumulus set to automatically start in some way do you? And a copy is starting up in the background every time you start the computer?

Yeah, sorry the wiki had an out of date link near the top, the link in the version list was ok.

Re: a PHP import script for DayFile and Monthly log files

Thanks for the update. The table name typo was fixed in version 3.1 back in March. Thanks for the heads up on the issue with the wind symbol. I've updated the wiki to version 3.2 to incorporate your change, though I have implemented it in a different way. Your fix would work for the monthly log file...

Re: Two problems using SS gauges 2.7.1

You are missing some files from your web server...

scripts/RGraph.common.core.min.js
scripts/RGraph.rose.min.js

Get those uploaded and see how it goes...

Re: Highcharts Graphs

You could start by looking at my home page, it may take a little extraction (and I do some extra stuff with the graph), but I use 12 hours and alter the scale labels.

Re: FTP upload error

You're right David, but I don't think it is getting that far. The initial login is failing with error 530, so the username and/or password is incorrect (assuming the host name is correct!). Only once it has logged in will it use the directory path.

Re: FTP isn't working after host change

Your trends page is up to date for me http://www.elgheko.us/wxtrends.php
and the realtime.txt file is updating http://www.elgheko.us/realtime.txt

EDIT: Ah, no I see they are fairly recent, but not updating.

Re: FTP isn't working after host change

I'd try dropping the leading / from your remote file names. Use "public_html/..." Rather than "/public_html/...”

Re: Truncate Webtag Value

Depends on how you present the data. Cumulus can't do it for you, so if you use PHP to construct the page, reformat the data in PHP, failing that you will have to use JavaScript in the browser.
