Re: Web pages won't load

I've taken a look, a cookie is created if you change the Apparent temp gauge to something else - this is correct and is the same as the full web site version of the gauges. I cannot get the page to fail to load when the cookie is set and connecting to my local MX instance. My cookie contents are exa...

Re: UV Gauge Issue

Try changing.. if (cache.value > ssGauge.getMaxValue()) { ssGauge.setMaxValue(nextHighest(cache.value, 2)); } to cache.maxValue = Math.max(cache.value, cache.maxMeasured); if (cache.maxValue > ssGauge.getMaxValue()) { ssGauge.setMaxValue(nextHighest(cache.maxValue, 2)); }

Re: Update without losing customization

Hi Chris, It looks like the only significant updates between 2.5.5 and 2.6.1 are to the gauges.js file. Most of the customisation in that file is in the "config", "gaugeGlobals", and "commandParms" sections at the top of the file. Looks like the css file hasn't changed ...

Re: Lack of updates

For instance; i myself would like to add a webservice for getting realtime data to homeseer. i know this is currently stored in realtime.txt but using that would mean homeseer and cumulusMX need to run on the same PC. Have you looked at using the API data that MX makes available? You can access tha...

Re: Wind Direction

Yeah, that is what they have done with the "web" version of the VP2 console - unlike the physical console which has the arrow pointing outwards in the direction of the wind origin.

Re: Wind Direction

I think most still use a "from" indicator - any examples using a "to" indicator?
I notice the VP2 console code manages to use both! A triangular indicator in the correct "from" position on the compass but pointing in the "to" direction!

Re: UV Gauge Issue

Herb(?), it will be because you are not including today's maximum reading in the calculation for the gauge scale max. Post a link to your page to remind me and I'll take a look. I'm on a holiday break at the mo so my responses may not be very timely.

Re: Recording solar at night

I've not seen it myself, but i saw a similar thread on the wx forum: the bad news is that was the start of the end for their sensor iirrc :(

Try the usual plug reseating/cleaning first though.

Re: Solar Gauge "Wedge" Issue

Seem to have the same/similar issue with the pressure gauge. The pressure gauge works differently from the solar in that the sectors are no fixed size. They just display from your all-time min/max pressures to the start/end of the gauge scale. So the sector widths will vary according to how close t...

Re: Solar Gauge "Wedge" Issue

Jumped the gun a bit on my report - I had already had a W/m2 reading above 1000 when I got things sorted yesterday. Today, the wedge still slowly disappeared as the theoretical approached 1000. When the clouds cleared and the actual reading exceeded 1000 redrawing the range, the wedge reappeared co...
