Re: Auto-refresh Website Index Page Without Using Meta Refresh

The realtime reader script was not designed to refresh a webcam image. It was purely designed to automatically refresh the webtags provided by the Cumulus software. You will need to research other methods to refresh a webcam image, and if you don’t find anything on this forum that someone has alread...

Re: Graphs not updating on website

I don't get that error that you get when updating the internet settings, even when using your settings, so I'm afraid I have no idea what the cause of that is. I've fixed the Object error when updating the Internet Settings. It seems I had omitted :bash: to copy over the Interface folder from the d...

Yes, it will only update at the specified interval.

And it is fixed!

So it was the interval setting?

Thanks so much Steve!

Another donation on its way!

Re: Graphs not updating on website

I changed the interval to 15 this morning Have you restarted MX since then? You'll need to do that to make the change work. Rebooted just now, still the 'not updated' htm and updated realtimegauges in the web folder. No .json files in there. Should I wait for the 15 min interval after that reboot?

Thanks Steve, that seems to have fixed the gauges updating problem

I guess that won't fix the graph update issue?

Re: Graphs not updating on website

I changed the interval to 15 this morning after I compared it to the France Pi. It had been previously set at a default, I think it was 150 before.

I've attached the Cumulus.ini file (passwords commented out)

Re: Graphs not updating on website

CumulusMX is running under root on UK Pi: ps -ef|grep Cumulus root 467 1 1 09:18 ? 00:01:45 mono /home/pi/CumulusMX/CumulusMX.exe I've attached the screenshots as requested. I do get the Object Error when I change Internet settings. That seems to have started in b3037. But the changes seem to still ...

Re: Graphs not updating on website

Hi Steve, The htm files are not being updated, could that be because I have Include Standard Files unchecked? (I don't use these). This is a capture of the files in the web folder on the UK Pi showing the update timestamps: Untitled picture.png I've attached the latest file from MXdiags, I can't see...

Re: Graphs not updating on website

So to clarify, the json files are not being updated in the web folder on your Pi, with 3037? Correct, there are only .htm files and the realtimegaugesT.txt and realtimegauges.txt files in the web folder on the UK Pi (b3037). On the France Pi running b3031, the .json files are being updated successf...

Yes, it did.
The issue was still present for me pre-b3037.

Re: Graphs not updating on website

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the prompt reply.

The .json file aren't being generated on the UK Pi, but they have been and are being updated on the France one.

I assume they are meant to be created by MX as I don't see them in the unzipped distribution?

Thanks,

Paul

Graphs not updating on website

I have two weather stations running MX each on a Raspberry Pi. One is in France, the other in the UK. The France one is working fine, updating the graphs and gauges ok on the public website. However, the UK one won't update graphs or gauges on the website. I have Upload Gauges ticked, but the .json ...

Re: Last Station Update - Out of Date

Hi Steve, As promised, an update. It has not failed in at least 48 hrs since I moved the station to a direct PC USB port rather than the powered USB hub. Interesting how Cumulus 1 handled it's weirdness but very pleased it seems to be running good in the direct USB port now on C3. Thanks for the gui...
