Back again
I 1st used Cumulus 7 yrs ago but stopped when I moved to linux for 24/7 operations of some hardware. Recent events have had me rationalising my setup so I am back :) IMG_20170126_220021.jpg Raspberry Pi 3 with WD PiDrive IMG_20170127_195246.jpg IMG_20170127_195153.jpg hooked up to a Davis Vantage Vu...

Re: Webcam Servers
I use an ANC-600v ip camera http://www.svp.co.uk/electrical/digital-vision/digital-cameras/sumvision-ip-camera-anc-600v_mte-01027.html all it needs is access to a lan cable if you have a home network. It has its foibles which doesn't surprise me as a budget ip camera but it works well. there are wir...

Both fwink and yaw allow an image overlay, but creating that image from cumulus data automatically is beyond me at this point, I am sure it can be d...

Re: Webcam Page
I think (always dangerous I know) that an easy solution for those wanting to use a webcam in connection with a weather is a free software package like fwink http://www.lundie.ca/fwink/ or yawcam http://www.yawcam.com/ . both will support ftp and local file copy. i used both of these before setting u...

Re: Cumulus Realtime Gadget
love the gadget, and have a small? request is it possible to make part of the gadget a clickable hyperlink with the target the realtime.txt url - the realtime.txt at end? I think that might be a bit unusual for someone to want to do. You can certainly do this yourself though... The gadget is really...
