Re: Snow Depth in Cumulus 1.9.0

cumulus is installed c:\Cumulus with all its default folders. and the Start in is set to C:\Cumulus

I also use the installer shortcut that was placed on the desktop to launch it and it also launches at startup.

It's the log.xml file. I'm wondering if there's some sequence that causes that file to appear to be corrupt to the web tag processing code. But if a restart doesn't clear it, that would seem to discount that possibility.

thanks steve.

Re: Snow Depth in Cumulus 1.9.0

Error reading diary file: ClientDataSet1: Missing data provider or data packet That's a shame, that's the same sort of error you get when the file is corrupt. But at least it proves that the problem is number 3 in my list. I'll see what I can come up with. thanks Steve Which file is the diary file ?

Snow Depth in Cumulus 1.9.0

I've entered in the snow depth for yesterday and today via the Weather Diary and when I check Cumuluswebtags.php its showing as 0 (zero)

$snowdepth = '0'; // Today's Snow Depth as entered manually in the Weather Diary

Cumulus version 1.9.0

Any ideas anyone ?

You just need to make sure that each installation is in its own directories. I used c:\cumulus and c:\cumulustp

Updates are a bit of a pain, but not that hard.

Had them both in different folders and they still blew up the winsock.

Running 2 copies of Cumulus

I have 2 weather stations a WS2300 and an Oregon Scientific wmr928n. Ideally I would like to have both running on cumulus on the same computer (2 different installations of cumulus of course) I have tried it and it appeared to work for a while but eventually they would blow up my winsock.dll so that...
