Re: data logger problem

Hello again Thank you to both Tailwheel and Paul for your helpful suggestions, particularly Tailwheel for the detailed instructions which were far more useful than those that came with the new logger. After 4 more abortive attempts mainly because certain procedures timed out before I could get to th...

Re: data logger problem

Hello Paul Thank you for your helpful input. This told me what I understood to be the correct procedure to get the wifi data logger to talk to CumulsMX in that I needed to change the input type from serial to TCP/IP - done. Then to amend the IP address to that of the logger - thought I done this but...

Re: data logger problem

Hello I'm not sure that it has a name as such. It is made or imported from Poland by a British company called Prodata Systems as a cheaper alternative to the very expensive Davis Logger. Whereas the Davis logger is connected to the PC via a USB, the replacement logger works via WiFi. It addition to ...

data logger problem

Hello After many years service my Datalogger in the Vantage Vue 'died' a week or so ago. Rather than spend a fortune on a Davis replacement logger I bought a cheaper alternative from Prodata systems and this arrived today. The logger came with several A4 sheets of instructions most of which I dont t...

Re: Davis Vantage Vue to update Cumulus

Hello Mark I'd already noticed the Jan24 log error and that has been corrected. I think the only way forward is to buy another logger. I cannot recall when I bought the logger but it must be soon after I bought the Vantage Vue system and thus it must date back to around 2014 or so. Not a bad innings...

Davis Vantage Vue to update Cumulus

Hello After again. I now have a problem with my Davis Vantage Vue with Davis Weatherlink USB logger which has abruptly ceased to upload data to Cumulus although the Console is updating and displaying correctly. A few days ago, in common with my normal practice, I closed Cumulus and then switched off...

Re: Reworked default websites

Hello Neil Apologies for further contact but the Default website Reports pages is still not loading data. The page itself is updating as evidenced by the line at the bottom of the page 'Page data updated 10/01/2024 15:16:00'. I am confused by your comment that Cumulus 'assumes' that the Reports fold...

Re: Reworked default websites

Good morning I am having continuing problems in getting the Noaa reports to load to my website: www.farleighmeadows.co.uk. The website is working OK with all pages, except Reports, updating regularly. I did have a problem with the Records page but resolved this and it's now working well. I have chec...

Re: Reworked default websites

Hello Trevor I have checked the server and the three.js files (my-menu, ws-extra and page-manager) are indeed on the server. They are found in public_html folder which has 5 subfolders (css, images, js, lib and Reports). Below these subfolders are over 100 files which include my-menu.js,ws-extra.js ...

Re: Reworked default websites

Hello I was rather confused by Freddie's response but it seems I didn't explain correctly and used the wrong terminology. My apologies for the confusion. What I want to do is to retain the website as it is now ie. the default website run with CMX and also have via the same server the Alternative/Rew...

Re: Reworked default websites

Hello Help please before I finally give up the ghost! I have been trying, unsuccessfully to populate the Alternative Interface website, but unfortunately, all I get are blank template pages with the exception of the gauges.html which updates and displays without problem. This is all the more frustra...

Help please. Yet again I need to contact the forum for assistance. I need to amend the ws-extra.js file with this amendment viz let dataPath = ''; Having accessed the file from Notepad and found Line 13 that needs amending adjusting, I am totally lost whether the amendment is an addition to the orig...

Re: ws-extra.js file

Hello Freddie Thank you for the advice and I eventually managed to open the ws-extra.js file. In doing so I located Line 13 but became confused whether the text was a replacement for the whole of line 13, a replacement for part of the text or simply an add-on after the existing text! In the confusio...
