I have a vantage vue that I bought new about 4 years ago. I have now developed an issue with the humitity sensor / readings. Every evening as night fall comes on, the reading drops to 1% ! I live in New York state where I dont think in the history of recorded weather has the humitity EVER been that ...

Re: LOW BATTERY TRANSMITTER 1?

I have gone through this problem a few times now and everytime the answer has been " insects " . Not a low battery... I have had ants and spiders set up home inside the vantage vue and once they do, you will get the " LOW BATTERY TRANSMITTER 1" message. Spiders tend to build thic...

Re: Davis vatahe Vue issues

Davis Vanateg Vue just back from the shop in California for repairs and so far, all looks good. They said it was a colony of ants that were still alive when it arrived from NY. They had got up into the workings off the ISS and raise holy H***. Plue Davis put in a new set of contacts to help with the...

Re: Davis vatahe Vue issues

Vantage Vue is on its way back from DAVIS after being either repaired, OR replaced. They didnt state in their UPS notice which or what they did. Just that its on its way back. Well, get her hooked up and report back on the status.

Re: Davis vatahe Vue issues

well, no matter what, Its on its way back to California to be Repaired OR Replaced and Im having faith that Davis will do the right thing. For $ 300.00 + I shouldnt have to be the one to figure out whats " wrong " with the station after some simple, at home test have been tried, and failed...

Re: Davis vatahe Vue issues

Colin, here is a link to a discussion on the WXForum.net about Battery failures on Vantage Vue ... WOW,,, Thank you. I had no idea just what a problem this has been for Vantage vue owners. The V V is a new product and I guess we're in the " getting the bugs " worked out stage of the game....

Re: time settings

I assume you want to change the time format from something like 20:10 to 08:10 pm -- I actually wonder if this would cause Cumulus a problem. Changing the Windows time format shouldn't cause Cumulus any problems, it just won't have any effect as far as Cumulus itself is concerned. Changing the date...
