Maths - Cumulus MX webtags
How do I do some simple maths on Cumulus MX webtags in order to output data to my website? For example I want to obtain the Wet Bulb Depression which = <#temp> - <#wetbulb> I know how to do it with the old version of Cumulus 1 using JavaScript and HTML using processed webtags as a variable. eg var t...

Re: Twitter issues
Here is more info on the Twitter issue from this page https://dev.twitter.com/discussions/24239 This is an important notice for developers still using HTTP plaintext connections. On January 14th, 2014, connections to api.twitter.com will be restricted to TLS/SSL connections only. If your application...

Re: Twitter issues
I really hope a fix can be found. I use Twitter to auto send the updates to my Facebook weather page too.
So I have lost both my Twiiter and Facebook accounts that I use to update over 300 people!
Hope Steve can find a work around soon...

Re: PHP Web 'viewer' for Cumulus NOAA Style reports
Time for a silly question.
How do you produce the noaa report in the first place.
Is there an option in cumulus somewhere to produce the report?

Re: Twitter show rounded values
I can't think of any way of doing this using Cumulus. In general, it uses the same precision for the web tags as it uses for the main display, and tries to set the precision appropriately depending on the station and the units. I could add a parameter such as beteljuice suggests, but it will be a l...

Twitter show rounded values
This is a sample tweet from my Twitter feed via Cumulus -
5:03pm 16.4°C, NW 1kmh, Gust 7kmh, 89%, 1011.7hPa steady, 8.3mm | Glen Forrest weather #Perth http://bit.ly/dz3Ovy
I want to only show the pressure to the nearest whole number eg 1011hPa
any ideas?

Re: convert dayfile.txt to xml file
Scott, as a learning/practice experiment, I have re-written the PHP part of David's script (ie: 'readDayfile.php') to include all the data available from the 'dayfile.txt' file. The script is still experimental - it can be viewed on this page: Annual Weather Data Summary . I am not planning to re-w...

Min Temp and rainfall is a day 'out'
In Australia Minimum temp is recorded for the 24hrs to 9am and booked against the day it is read on. Cumulus records it for the previous day. eg: Australia records min temp for 24hrs to 9am on 20th then books it on the 20th Cumulus records min temp for 24hrs to 9am on the 20th then books against the...
