Re: Solar and UV sensors going off line - fix?

Hi all, Just an update to this, soldering the crystal down has not solved my particular issue - although this fix may still be valid for others having issues. I have 2 new solar sensor units coming direct from Fine Offset, hopefully they will be here in the next day or so. Support from Fine Offset h...

Solar and UV sensors going off line - fix?

Hi all, I just sent my sales contact at Fine Offset an email regarding my solar and UV sensors going off line. They are sometimes ok for only 2-3 hours, sometimes 10 hrs. :bash: It took him no more than 5 minutes to respond with this  ; "Thanks for your message, this problem also is refle...

Re: Webcam links

Hi all, After a while with no weather station due to a house shift - and even longer without a webcam - it's great to have 41south.net.nz back on line  The webcam looks south east towards the Wellington harbor entrance. The lights seen in night time shots will be the light houses and marker bu...

Re: Purchasing the WH3080

Thanks for the replies folks. Ebay.co.uk = £99, but on the Signatrol website they are £75.25 (ex vat). At that price I could buy 2 and have one for spares 8-) I'll see what the shipping costs are like.

I've watched Cumulus for a long time and it's great to it progressing so well with such great support :D Where is the best place to purchase the WH3080? I see Signatrol ment...

Re: New user, old questions?

Thanks Steve, I'll have a look at the easyweather.dat link, other than that I'm happy to wait for when you are ready to support 1-wire. Count me in as a beta tester when you need them :) I'm not sure that emulating something such as a WMR station will work as it possibly would not support all the di...

New user, old questions?

Hi all, I'm interested in moving my PWS to Cumulus software. I'm currently using Dallas -1-wire hardware, which I see isn't presently supported? I read also that there is a user who is working with Arduino to possibly build an interface to Cumulus. I see several advantages to this approach, among th...
