I did a blog on the above, should be of interest to owners of aging weatherstations.
The realtime display is a significant enhancement to Cumulus 1 anyway.

Re: Fine Offset Pressure sensor
Thanks for clarification of abs/rel So I seem to have two consoles each with the same pressure sensor fault. Extraordinary. I have two btw because I bought a second station some 10 years back for spares. That proved to be a good move as I've had to use several of the spares. The only duff spare seem...

Re: Fine Offset Pressure sensor
The 1013.2 reading is rel. hpa - the abs pressure reading is zero.
I'm a bit confused as to what rel/abs mean to be honest.
But you've hit on the issue I think.

Fine Offset Pressure sensor
I have a Fine Offset with Solar W-8681 station and run V1.9.4 Cumulus on an old XP laptop. The pressure reading has been absent for some time - static at 1013.2 on the display console and everywhere else. So that I can home in on this issue can anyone tell me which hardware module in the weather sta...

Re: Incorrect monthly log of solar value
Thanks Paul, I must investigate the diags more, see what they do.
Anyway since posting the original problem, things have started behaving again. I did several restarts so that may have cured it. Always difficult to be really sure.

Incorrect monthly log of solar value
Using Fine offset with Solar, Cumulus 1.9.4 Solar logging and Web page were fine until yesterday when the Solar Radiation crossed 601 and stuck there, where it has been ever since, day and night. The Fine Offset small display consol currently shows the correct solar lux and w/m2 values and these sho...

Free software for log file graphs
I have written a piece of software called CumlogDisplay which produces monthly graphs from archived log files. It uses the free Processing language which is easily installed on to a Windows PC. (see Processing.org). The software also produces a jpg image of the graphs (sample below for this month so...

W8681 comms failure
Three times now over a period of a month my W-8681 has hung up, ie no comunications with Cumulus over USB port. - If I stop Cumulus & run Easyweather it complains it can't communicate - Resetting the laptop & restarting Easyweather doesn't help - Laptop has battery backup so unlikely to be m...

Re: Adding extra data to web page using CGI scripts
Forgot to say, you need to change the web address, and possibly the paths, in <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.mecol.co.uk/cgi-bin/executer.cgi?http://www.mecol.co.uk/cgi-bin/extractCumulus.cgi"></script> from mecol.co.uk to your own. If you call executor on my serv...

Adding extra data to web page using CGI scripts
On my site there is now extra solar data displayed on the front page. This has been extracted from the monthly log file and uses two cgi scripts called at the server when the web page is refreshed. It may be of interest to others so I'm offering a brief description for what it's worth. I have a PV p...

Re: Adding Solar Radiation Graphs
Different build levels issue - hadn't noticed that, thanks. Will sort out. Problem arose because I keep swapping between my desktop (for mods) and laptop (which runs the station 24/7) copying across the .dat directory and ini files etc each time. I obviously managed to download different builds to e...

Adding Solar Radiation Graphs
I'm trying to find a way to add daily/monthly graphs of solar radiation. I can see the parameter is recorded in the <Month><Year>log.txt file so I could possibly extract it and generate the graphs but it's a lot of work and I'd like to check I'm not missing some easier way. Am I? Also looking at my ...
