Re: Weather Underground not updating

I would suggest stopping the upload of reatimegauges.txt in your config or set up the ftp correctly so that it either stops trying the upload or uploads correctly, then we may get some sensible output in the diags.

Re: Need to identify web template in use

As an additional point I took another look at the Rye Golf Club page and clicked on To see the historical data of our weather station, click here and rather than seeing what I expected a complete set of Cumulus web pages displaying all the data since the station was set up to use Cumulus, it directe...

Re: Need to identify web template in use

If you download the latest complete ZIP file it contains a file called realtimegaugesT.txt plus all the other files needed to implement the SteelSeries Gauges. Cumulus version 1.9.4 version 1099 is the latest and last version of Cumulus 1 which is what you are running which connects to the weather s...

Re: Need to identify web template in use

Still think the best option is download the latest version from here viewtopic.php?f=21&t=7186#p61199 and implement it in place of the existing gauges.

Re: Need to identify web template in use

Mark is the author of SteelSeries Gauges and on looking at the site those are definitely Marks gauges. No reason why you could not down load them and implement them in place of the existing gauges. Make sure you use the latest realtimeguages.txt in the download as each one is linked to a particular ...

Re: Raspberry Pi: Long term reliability

While I understand what BigOkie is saying I personally would agree with what Mark said, but the drive doesn't necessarily have to be a SSD it can also be a standard external USB 2.5" drive which can be very cheap nowadays. I use them for 2 Pi's one for streaming and the other some experimental ...

Re: Accessing my C MX weather via WAN/internet

I would suggest, as you have been told a couple of times, it is a bad idea to open ports to the Pi to allow access to what are meant to be internal web displayed pages. You are asking to be hacked. CumulusMX does not have any security whatsoever to stop people accessing your setup, and it is very un...

Re: Strange Trend Graph

I am assuming that a Zephyr TD-1000 is an Fine Offset look alike? If that is the case I saw these sort of results when the logger interval for the new data on the new PC got set to a different value from the existing data. Try checking the logger interval using Steve's utility at the bottom of the d...

Re: FTP problem

You have nothing in Directory. Usually this is the base directory on your server as specified by your ISP i.e. public_html or htdocs.

Re: FTP failure.

You are using Active FTP mode. I would first of all try Passive FTP mode by removing the tick in Use Active FTP Mode, as passive is the is the norm and active should only be used when required by your ISP.

Re: FTP problem

A lot of ISPs have been switching to more secure SSL connections because of the problems with TLS 1.0 and 1.1 so you may have to check with your ISP.
