Re: Which file to modify?

In the Wiki in the Customization area there is a SteelSeries topic and the one under the FAQ contains instructions on how to alter the layout.

Re: Request help - differences between Chrome and IE11

Plus look for an editor.

I personally use Webuilder https://www.webuilderapp.com/ . It is not free ($42.95 or £35) but it is well worth the money, frequent updates and additions, very good support and supports multiple languages not just HTML, plus a quite good CSS editor.

Re: Request help - differences between Chrome and IE11

I looked at the code of this page and I think you have a fundamental misunderstanding of HTML pages. You cannot place two pages of HTML in the one index.htm, you have to merge the code for the menu system without the html, header, body etc. into the existing page, not just copy and paste into the to...

Re: BT's Global Sager Weathercaster PHP Scripts For Cumulus

No reason why not as it is mod to the web pages not the Cumulus interface. Since the Cumulus MX interface is also web based I do not see why it could't be applied there also, but you would have to experiment with it. I certainly had the code running on my website when I was Cumuls MX, but I did not ...

Re: CumulusMX has stopped working

My guess would be some invalid data in one of the Cumulus MX files. With Cumulus MX closed use a good editor such as Notepad ++ and check the files one by one starting with dayfile.txt. Alternately if your weather station has a logger copy a set of files from the backup directory, say from the rollo...

Re: New install, no gauges displayed

You have the location of realtimegauges.txt in gauges.js set to

Code: Select all

public_html/realtimegauges.txt

This is incorrect it should be

Code: Select all

realtimegauges.txt

Re: Displaying Timestamp in realtime.txt, and centering the digital displays

The files section can handle 100 files so I doubt you have reached the limit, just the limit of the display. To add more, edit cumulus.ini (Cumulus must be closed) and scroll down to Files. Copy the last group (it will have 09 in the names) paste it underneath 09 and alter all the lines to 10 and se...

Re: Support for WeatherFlow Smart Weatherstation

With Steve currently touring France in an RV I would think it extremely unlikely especially as there are other requests for other Weather Stations in the queue. If it is possible to intercept the data stream you could try building an easyweather.dat file http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/EasyWeather_Form...

Re: off-line data

If you have the logger being used it should download all missing data although only on the logger interval not the same interval when directly connected. If you are missing data stop CumulusMX, copy the previous day's data from the Backup directory over the current data and then restart CumulusMX an...

Re: realtimegauges.txt not updating locally

Cumulus does not support FTPS only standard FTP there are plenty of threads that mention this and it is also in the Wiki http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/FAQ#How_do ... FTPS.29.3F

Re: Cumulus receiving wind data problem

Close Cumulus, roll the data files back to the previous day using the automatic backups held in the Backups folder and then restart Cumulus and it will import the correct data from the logger as Easyweather did.

It is set in the cookie box below the gauges.

The units actually displayed will be read from the realtime.txt file, or from the users last visit cookie

Looks pretty obvious to me, remove lines 1 & 2 starting

and all should be well.

Re: CMX on an x86 tablet?

As long as it is the full version of W10 you should be fine as far as the Operating system is concerned. The hardware maybe a different problem depending on how the USB port(s) are powered, but as suggested a powered hub may help.
