Re: MQTT Export - Added Build 3071

I finally got it working, when I did a full reset of my efforts, following @uncle_bob's instructions verbatim, including copying and pasting his exact content, and then working from there. Great to see that helped! I've actually had to go thru and re-read it due to mucking up my template lol. I lik...

Re: 2nd Anemometer Failing

Gotcha. Thought you were talking about the WeatherDuino Pro 2 system (as in my sig below). Initial outlay of the Pro2 system. £600 Bought the anemometer transmitter. £200 That doesn't sound right. Where do you get that from? The boards and components I thought would be 200 pounds max for both the TX...

Re: MQTT Export - Added Build 3071

I thought I'd document my settings so no one else has to lose hair getting CumulasMX data into Home Assistant. Mods, please feel free to move this post to a better thread if necessary. First, my IntervalTemplate.txt looks like this: {"topics":[ { "topic": "sensor/cumulusmx/i...

Re: MQTT

Thanks Sadgit. You were on the money and it's now working. You also taught me yaml nesting. 2 for the price of 1 :-) Thanks again. So in a nutshell, and for those following along at home, it appears that the MQTT discovery setting does not automagically add MQTT feeds into HomeAsistant like I though...

Re: MQTT

Can someone feeding Home Assistant please help me out? I've been trying to get my MQTT messages to turn up as entities in HA but they fail to appear. I can see the messages in HA if I use the # to listen to all messages in the HA MQTT settings page. What's the secret to make this happen? Thanks Here...

Re: That old chestnut ... Fine Offset 'USB Lockup' !!!

You need two things to fix this: 1) https://i5.wal.co/asr/55579b2e-2b74-4eef-8f50-0616f5a9f247_1.e9634818356c77c595cda9a579ef3c3d.jpeg?odnWidth=180&odnHeight=180&odnBg=ffffff This is where you need to house the Fine Offset transmitter and receiver. 2) Then take a read here https://wiki.weath...
