Re: CMX4 beta b4017 Running OK
Just to add to it.. MX4 beta is running great on both my weather station sites :D No problem with data conversation, both running Windows 11 23H2 with dotnet 8.0.3 desktop runtime installed. I truly appriciate the time and effort you took to convery over from 4.8 to the newer dot net core runtimes. ...

Re: PHP Upload errors
have you asked if they can turn this off as an exception? Unfortunately they will not on the cheaper shared hosting plan I have, they require it on. I would have to upgrade to a virtual private server offering to do this. SFTP will work for now I suppose. I wish they would offer key based login vs ...

Re: PHP Upload errors
Unless you have some access to them, I think you are going to have to ask your hosting company to look at the web server logs and find out what the error was on their side. Everything looks OK from the CMX side. It may well end up that PHP upload may never work with some hosting companies because o...

Re: PHP Upload errors
Same issue after removing the realtime.txt and other files from my host first. HTTP 500.
Attached log file, as well as a copy of my config file, with passwords, etc redacted. Maybe you can spot something that's throwing it off?

Re: PHP Upload errors
There is something odd going on with your web site. When I first tried in a browser to open https://www.southingtonweather.com/ I got a DNS error. Then after a while it did open your main page. That aside. When I then tried the upload script in a browser (https://www.southingtonweather.com/upload.p...

Re: PHP Upload errors
When attempting to switch over and use PHP upload, I get HTTP500 errors. It only appears for custom files and realtime.txt. Scrolling through the logs and looking at my server, it appears some of the daily json files wer able to upload via PHP. I use a 3rd party web host. PHP/Apache run under the sa...
Re: GW1100
The only difference to the GW1000 is more internal memory and an inbuilt WebUI for pairing, configuration and live data view. That goes in parallel with the WSView app. The GW1100 can also be managed with the WSView app as before the GW1000 only. The WebUI is more user friendly. See also https://ww...

GW1000 HTTP Method?
Thank you for the recent addition of HTTP update method! I have a question about connectivity. I exclusively use GW1000 for my station with no other sensors. Am I best leaving the current GW1000 Station Type, or would I be better using the new HTTP Ecowitt station type for my sensor data? I already ...
GW1100
Ecowitt announced their GW1100 Console today ( https://twitter.com/ecowittweather/status/1419478517054533634 ) It looks like a slightly updated GW1000, but it allows sensor calibration and settings directly from their Web-UI rather than phone directly. I have one on order and will test with Cumulux ...

Re: Ecowitt GW1003 Ultrasonic Anemometer
Maybe because of AmbientWeather that is the US seller. Yes and no. Ecowitt sells every other device pretty much on US Amazon and their own storefront. So it's kind of odd this single out this single product. IMHO though, Ambient Weather's unit on their site has a power cord that has a built in temp...

Re: Ecowitt GW1003 Ultrasonic Anemometer
Thank you for your report! I initially set my station up with a regular anemometer, however I wanted to upgrade to the WS80 Ultrasonic finally now that I found outdoor switched plugs (Turn on a 30F, off at 40F etc) exist for the heater elemement.. however Ecowitt no longer sells these in the US. The...

Select a Graph Feature Request
Good Morning! I just noticed the "Select a graph" feature that must have been added in a recent release (Not sure when it was added but it's awesome!) I was wondering if Extra sensors could be added to this? For example I have my regular outdoor temp sensor on my GW1000, but i have a 2nd T...

Re: Ecowitt Stations
As far as power loss goes, I have my GW1000 plugged directly into a 1500VA/900W UPS backup battery. This UPS also powers the system that I run my CumuluxMX system on as well as some network equipment. It can run for 1.5-2 hours. If you were only powering a Pi and a GW1000 of it, it could last MUCH l...
