Wind Rose show "Undefined"
Just did a new install of Cumulus MX 3.12.0 b3141 over the weekend. Had a few minor issues but all seems to be working now. I have noticed that the Wind Rose on both the Dashboard page as well as the Gauges page shows "undefined" just above current count for what I think is supposed to be ...

Re: Davis AirLink Professional Air Quality Sensor (7210UK)
Do you try to reach the AirLink on the LAN from a machine on the LAN? Seems to me the ddns address can't be reached from the inside of the LAN. If you try over G4 by phone you might see it though. Might have nothing to do with the port probably. I am able to reach the AirLink on the LAN from a mach...

Re: Davis AirLink Professional Air Quality Sensor (7210UK)
Is it the same if you replace your ddns with your external IP address? Make sure you're not port forwarding 80 on any other devices and that it's both tcp & udp. my.ddns.com doesn't resolve to anything btw. I was finally able to do this by using port 8080 as the incoming port to the router, the...

Re: Davis AirLink Professional Air Quality Sensor (7210UK)
I received my AirLink today. Got it set up and reporting data. I wrote a script to access the AirLink directly and it works great when I use its local IP address to access it. http://192.168.xxx.yyy/v1/current_conditions However, when I try to access it via my ddns, I get nothing back. http://my.ddn...

Re: Davis AirLink Professional Air Quality Sensor (7210UK)
I opened the port up for AirLink on my router like I have with my webcam. I'm already using a ddns, so I just used that to create a url http://ddns_here/v1/current_conditions I wouldn't recommend it, but it's my preference. I suspect a curl script would be needed to download the json data and then ...

Re: Davis AirLink Professional Air Quality Sensor (7210UK)
.... What exactly is the process to move data from the Airlink to the "webspace"? How often is "regularly"? .... Basically your PC is interrogating the AirLink and you want to copy that file to your webspace. I'm guessing my PHP script on my host could access the Airlink directl...

Re: Davis AirLink Professional Air Quality Sensor (7210UK)
I'm thinking about purchasing the AirLink but have a question about beteljuice's script. There is a comment at the beginning of betel_AQ_davis.php that says "(data) json file should be regularly uploaded to webspace !!!" I'm assuming this data file is coming from the Airlink. What exactly ...

Re: Problem with degrees symbol
I've been using Cumulus V1 to create a text file for use by IPTimeLapse for over a year now and it works great. In my "template" file, I create the decimal symbol with ALT-0176 and save the file as ANSI. I let Cumulus V1 process the file and uncheck the UTF-8 box for this file on the FILES...

Re: NOAA Report Issue
Steve,
There are only 2 lines in my current dayfile.txt file - one for today and one for yesterday.
Can I go back to my last backup with hundreds of lines and add the December days to it?

Re: NOAA Report Issue
Steve, Thanks for the pointer. I did find a corrupted line in Dec17log.txt. I removed it, saved the file, then restarted Cumulus. The flashing Error light quit flashing. I then tried to manually create a Monthly and Yearly NOAA Report, but they did not seem to update. I clicked on 'Update Display' i...

NOAA Report Issue
I had a system crash earlier this week. Since bringing Cumulus back up, my daily NOAAMO1217.txt report shows data only for the days since the crash and not back to Dec 1. Also my NOAAYR2017.txt report displays data for only December (which is just a couple of days due to the missing days). From what...

Re: Determing Overnight Low between specific hours
Thanks for the suggestion. I did a little playing around with your code and I believe it will work. I'll let it run overnight and see what result it gives me in the AM.

Re: Determing Overnight Low between specific hours
I would have thought your lows would usually be pre-dawn ? So doesn't today / yesterday lows cover most events ? Sometimes a warm front may come through during the night and it might be 45F at 10PM, but as the temps climb during the night, it could be 50F at 7AM. So, the "real" overnight ...

Determing Overnight Low between specific hours
Does Cumulus have a tag (or even a way to calculate) the overnight low between 2 specific hours. For example, if I want to get the low temperature between 10PM and 8AM, is there a tag I could use or a methodology that might provide this data for me?
Thanks,
Steve
Thanks,
Steve
