Re: New Record? Post here.

Finished the heatwave with a very uncomfortable max temp today of 33.2c and max apparent of 36.4c

As I type this post its still 30c, both outside and inside, so another night in the sauna coming up. Thank fully temp trend is now downwards; getting a little old for the past few days temps.

Re: New Record? Post here.

New records today 18 Jun. 17

Highest Temp 31.1c previous 30.8c on the 30 June 2015

Highest Apparent temp 33.4c previous 31.9c on the 28 June 2012

With the heatwave continuing these could be broken again this week.

Though what we could do with is a decent storm to clear the air.

Steel Gauges wind speed without decimal place

I’m running Steel Gauges version 2.5.18 and wondered if it’s possible to change the wind speed to whole numbers without a decimal place.

Re: Solar Data and "Max" Values

After observation I found I needed to concentrate on the first few hours in the morning and evening otherwise Cumulus would report sun when there wasn’t any. I also discovered the Met Office wasn’t recording sun for the first 25 to 30 minutes first and last thing in the day; which confirmed somethin...

THSW logging and webtags

Would it be possible in station settings to have a switch for VP2 whereby when selected THSW is substituted for Heat Index for logging and for webtags. It could say something like "use THSW for Heat Index". The webtags wouldn't need to be changed, just the description on the web page. eg T...

Re: Cumulus Toolbox - upload problem

Thank you Steve, but that also returns an error. However /Dayfiledata/dayfile.txt – works but only as execute now manual upload from within toolbox. As toolbox is able to negotiate access by to my website via manual upload but not automatically, i suspect toolbox doesn't work with windows 10. Colin

Re: Reworked default websites

Hi Neil

The download buttons for MX don't work for me; though the moon phase and 1.9.4 download buttons work. I have tried using both Chrome and Firefox.

Re: FTP Connect Error 500

The zero file is not a real problem, it only happens 4 or 5 times a year and is an easy fix. The problem shows up when steel gauges reports http error in the scroll bar on the webpage with the time of last update. However the rest of the web site still updates. From memory the problem file is always...
