I wouldn't get bogged down with it to be honest.

Re: Net Office WOW site

It looks as though it is a problem their side. I cannot see any independent stations, only official Met Office stations.

Re: Cumulus integration with Windfinder

I've just had a look at Windfinder, and found my station data on there.. I never even set anything up with them, so they must be scraping another weather network to obtain the data.

Then why is there options for UTF8 to be turned on or off in Extra web files? :D

Re: Problem with degrees symbol

I just don't get how it works when Cumulus isn't processing the file? As soon as I start it again, the weird chars appear. Another route I tried; I don't have UTF-8 checked in CMX, stopped the processing. Opened up the text files and saved them as ANSI and the degrees symbol works. I started the pro...

Tried UFT8 on it's own, with BOM and ANSI. All ideas have exhausted lol

Re: Problem with degrees symbol

I'm doing nothing with the files. I have a simple ipcamT.txt which get's processed to ipcam.txt, and then the text get's read my the webcam software. Both files show °C and both files are encoded with UTF-8 BOM (opened in NOTEPAD++) If it was the webcam software, surely the degrees symbol wouldn't s...

Re: Problem with degrees symbol

Yeah sorry. I forgot to put back what I was trying to use as I removed it just to keep 'C' That aside, using ° stays as ° in the output. If I stop CMX from processing the file and manually put the degrees symbol in, it works fine, but as soon as CMX processes the file again, it add...

Hi Steve

I'm using the .txt file extension.
It is set to UTF-8 as well.

Re: Problem with degrees symbol

Second, correct usage (though little known) is that the degree symbol should not be used. You are supposed to just write "19.7 C" and that nicely avoids all your troubles! I think Cumulus' <#tempunit> just gives you the C or F for that reason? I'm old school. I like to show °C <#tempunit>...

Problem with degrees symbol

Hi there! After all the kerfuffle about Wunderground stopping the free API, I suddenly realised IPTimelapse uses it to show the weather data. I then discovered on another forum, that IPTimelapse can read a text file for the weather data. So, I have set up a text file called ipcamT.txt and get CMX to...

Everything is correctly filled in correctly, but I seem to have another location for my air quality and current conditions.

Re: Cumulus Realtime.txt Dashboard Template

Ah. I didn't realise you removed that option, apologies Brian. That's weird. I'm not getting the padlock on Chrome. Tried it on Edge and Opera, no padlock either. The AQI is always going offline for me too. Edit: Fixed the SSL problem. I added a rewrite rule to htaccess so that it directed users who...

Re: Cumulus Realtime.txt Dashboard Template

Hi Brian

I'm using the cloudbasesolarwu.php file, unfortunately I get no UV data and a 404 for the graph.

https://warehamwx.co.uk/pws/wuuvindex.php

Edit: Just noticed the my 'secure' status is not showing up either. :o
