Re: Google map message on website

It shows up a marker in Parkstone, near Bournemouth. That's only 10 miles from me.

Re: Can CumulusMX catchup

re wunderground catch up.. It has always worked for me. I built a new PC earlier in the year and CMX was down for around 12 hours, as soon as I opened CMX up, it sent all the data to the weather networks I use. It shows as 10 minute updates on wunderground - no issues for me in the past.

Re: mapbox

It's nothing to do with your PC - you don't need any files for it to work.

I had that issue a few weeks ago, it was a bug on the wunderground map. It has since been fixed. Try clearing your cookies and cache and then try again.

That sounds extremely familiar?!

Hi Tina, would you have any suggestions how to fix?

Thanks,
Paul

I've replied via PM Paul. Sorry for the delay - too much nice weather to be indoors. :D

Re: New Record? Post here.

A new sunshine hours record for me. Up to 243.7 hours for July, and there's still 5 days to go.

SunshineByMonth.png

May, June and July all above the derived Met Office average for this area. 480.3 hours for Summer, with over a month to go.

Re: MX WU settings -indoor + WOW working

My site ID is just a 6 digit number, seems odd to have hyphens? There is no password to WoW to put in to CMX, just a pin number. The password is just to log in to your own WoW account. When you log in to WoW, and click 'My Sites' and then click 'Edit Site' it'll show you your Pin ID, known as the 'a...

Re: 2018 - An exceptional (ongoing) summer for the UK

It wasn't aimed at you, Ray. I apologise if that's how it came across. It was the media I meant, as I have been reading/hearing it too. The stats I mentioned came directly from the Met Office. Regards to predicting the weather; Locally, that's very difficult, and for the British Isles themselves. Ho...

Re: 2018 - An exceptional (ongoing) summer for the UK

It shouldn't be compared to 1976 yet. If August has average temps, Summer 2018 will only just make it in to the top 10. If sunshine hours in August are around average, it will just make it in to the top 5 of sunniest Summer's on record. If rainfall in August turns out to be average, it might not mak...

Re: New Record? Post here.

Finally got a new record of consecutive dry days; 15. CMX doesn't acknowledge this though. :(

Re: incorrect rain data

You have so much data missing, it's not surprising that you have problems.

It says on your home page that it last rained on May 2nd, but your NOAA-style report shows that you last had rain on May 13th.

Re: New Record? Post here.

This would break some record's if this GFS chart comes off:

The GFS tends to under cook temperatures by two or three degrees, as well.

Re: Daylight Savings

But later in the diags file there should be something about setting the console clock and reading it. Out of a 5 day log file, this is the only instance: 2018-07-05 22:34:35.337 Reading console time 2018-07-05 22:34:36.849 25-22-16-05-07-76-6A-36 2018-07-05 22:34:36.849 Console clock: 05/07/2018 22...
